What we’re about
I'm looking to make this a regular get together for both new hikers and experienced hikers alike. The main benefit of this group is that all hikes will be easily accessible by transit or by signing up for carpooling. This group makes it easy to meet new people, and we have lots of friendly, social conversations and chat on our hikes. Whether you're looking to join us for a specific event, or to be a reoccurring attendee to make new friends, this group is for you!
Event Difficulty Ratings: (Viewable in the Event Descriptions)
Easy: Elevation 0 to 450meters
Intermediate: Elevation 450 to 1000meters
Hard: Elevation 1000 to 2000meters
Very Hard: 2000+ meters
Organizer Recommendations:
*Each organizer runs their events differently, below is a general outline of what they do.
*For up to date information, including the difficulty of each event and what hiking equipment to bring, always check each Event Description.
*Our group tends to run larger event sizes which can be slow for some people, and includes waiting for slower hikers to catch up to us. Match the different organizer's event difficulty, group size, speed, and leadership style to your experience level and temperament.
