We'll gather for informative, insightful, inspiring, and inclusive talks on topics in web development, mobile apps, cloud computing technologies, and professional development. WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
We will joined by representatives from a few area companies to discuss how to land your first internship or job working in data science, data analytics, and/or machine learning. Expect to hear:- What these roles entail and what a typical "day-in-the-life" looks like
- Discussion of technical expertise needed and base job requirements
- Information on how to successfully navigate the hiring process for both internships and jobs in this focus area
- Personal stories of how our guest speakers got to where they are today
