Hiking/Walking + Vegan Dining - Ocean County
Living On the Veg, 657 E Bay Ave Unit 3, Manahawkin, NJ 08050, USA, Stafford Township, NJ, USThe 136th in NJveg’s hiking/walking + vegan dining series will start with lunch at vegan restaurant Living on the Veg (657 E Bay Ave #3, Manahawkin 08050). Afterward, we’ll head to nearby Cedar Bonnet Island (park here on Rt 72 eastbound: 39.657233, -74.193763) for an easy ~1.5 mile walk/hike. Please review NJveg’s restaurant trip guidelines. A costume is not required! 😀

Educational Outreach at Vegan in NJ Monthly Market - Monmouth County
American Legion Post 346, 21 Gully Rd, Neptune Township, NJ, USNJveg will answer questions and provide free literature on the benefits of a plant-based life. Come out for an hour, or the entire event. Help spread the word that going vegan saves animals, protects the environment, and improves your health! No experience is necessary. Set up is at 11:15. We particularly need help packing up (to about 4:30pm). Please let us know what times you are available. Consider going to the market and saying hello! Please RSVP only if you’re volunteering.

Allaire State Park, 524 Allaire Rd., Allaire State Park, Farmingdale, NJ, USNJveg will answer questions and provide free literature on the benefits of a plant-based life. Come out for an hour, or the entire event. Help spread the word that going vegan saves animals, protects the environment, and improves your health! No experience is necessary. We particularly need help setting up (at 7am) and packing up (to about 2:30pm). Please let us know what times you are available.
