🐈⬛ MEET THE AUTHOR at the Necromantic Film & Book Club! 🐈⬛
October’s Film & Book Club is going to be a special one.
Join Good Games Social Club at Necromantic Brew Co as we dive into a night of black cats, dark secrets, small-town horror, and feline terror with two very different stories connected by one particularly ominous theme.
📖 THE THIRTEEN BLACK CATS OF EDITH PENN by Sean McDonough 🎬 UNINVITED (1988)
And this month, we won’t just be talking about the book…
Author Sean McDonough will be joining us in person!
We’ll have the chance to discuss The Thirteen Black Cats of Edith Penn with Sean himself, hear about the story and its creation, ask questions, and then dig into how its brand of cat-infused horror pairs with the wonderfully bizarre 1988 cult movie Uninvited.
If you’ve never experienced Uninvited, prepare yourself: a mysterious cat, a luxury yacht, unsuspecting passengers and one gloriously strange slice of 1980s horror await.
Read the book. Watch the movie. Bring your questions, theories and love of weird horror—and join us for what should be a really fun October edition of the club.
📅 Wednesday, October 14th 🕢 7:30 PM 📍 Necromantic Brew Co — Farmingdale, NY
Come for the stories. Stay for the conversation. And whatever you do…
Don’t trust the cat. 🐈⬛
