Chef Paul Manley set out to create a seafood restaurant that grew its own signature items and he partnered with farmers, scientists, shrimpers, and most prominently with local NC oyster and clam farmers in the town of Sea Level, NC. Some highlights from the menu include sweet & spicy calamari, lobster & shrimp bisque, lobster rolls, seafood paella, shrimp & grits, scallops & risotto, and fried catfish.

This gorgeous rooftop restaurant in the chic Ballantyne neighborhood is well-known for its beautiful dining room and gorgeous views and stunning food options. Claiming to be “part sophisticated rooftop bar, part cutting-edge Japanese fusion restaurant", this venue is one of the most recognized high-class restaurants in Charlotte. Their tagline on their website is “awaken your senses”, and that’s exactly what they aim to do. Their seasonal a la carte menu features premium steak, fish, and sushi, as well as several tempting small plates like pork/shrimp potstickers and salmon carpaccio. They also generously offer something called the “seafood experience”, which is the “chef’s selection of specialty items”. This restaurant overall is a delicious, glamorous experience that you don’t want to miss in Charlotte.
