What we’re about
Welcome to Misadventures in CLT! We plan to host a variety of events across Charlotte to provide opportunities for folks to meet new people while having fun and gaining new experiences! This group is geared toward young adults (20s-30s) but all are welcome.
Some of our upcoming events will include board game nights, escape rooms, walks, museums, movies, plays, mini golf, and more! As providing opportunities to meet new people is one of our goals, we will include ice breakers at some of our events. Moreover, we encourage you to take the time at each event to get to know some of your fellow Charlotteans!
As our name suggests, we recognize that things go wrong at times, but that this is just a part of the adventure! We hope you join in with our misadventures!

For this Wednesday night, we’re trading game pieces for glam! Join us for a vibrant evening of Studio 54–inspired dancing, pop-up runway fashion shows, and live DJ sets spinning music from the '70s to the '90s. Start Time: 6:00pm (You can arrive earlier or later. Free entry begins at 5 pm. No problem if you will be late. Please just say so in the chat!)
Parking: There is parking near the Mint Museum Uptown at the Levine Center for the Arts (500 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202).
Duke Energy Center Visitor Parking: ($5 to $10 parking).

Food: While the museum doesn’t serve food, there are several nearby restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Feel free to grab something before or after the event.
Do I need to bring anything? Nope! Just bring your energy and maybe your best vintage-inspired outfit if you want to join the fashion vibe.
Geared toward: Anyone who loves fashion, music, art, or just wants a fun and stylish night out in Charlotte!
