Join New Jersey's largest Single's MEET-UP group with over 14,000 members as we enjoy a diverse and wide variety of fun adventures together, enjoying life.

We will enjoy live music by only the top musicians in the area, dinners at all the wonderful restaurants in the area, backyard BBQ's, bonfires & potluck on the beach, picnics in the park, food truck festivals, art & craft festivals, car shows, hiking, kayaking, camping, beach days, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, wine tastings, comedy shows, line dancing, DJ Dancing and more. The sky is the limit!
We are a fun bunch of active singles in their 40s, 50s & 60s.
The mission is to get like-minded singles out to have fun at events with other like-minded singles so that no-one has to sit home lonely, bored or depressed.

RULES:
The Mission of the MINGLE AROUND SINGLES (40s 50s 60s-Events & Adventures) MeetUp Group is for Singles to get out and socialize, mingle and enjoy events with other like-minded Singles in a group setting and have fun as a group in a fun and safe public space.
A Face Photo is required on MeetUp Profile for membership. This helps Organizers, Hosts and Members locate you at events and a requirement of membership.
First Name only on your MeetUp Profile. If your name is a popular name, you may include First Name with First Initial of Last Name. Do not include your last name on your public profile.
Please RSVP to the events you plan on attending so that Organizers and Hosts can keep an accurate headcount. If your plans change and you cannot attend, please be courteous and change your RSVP. Habitual no shows may result in removal from the group.
Photos will be taken at each event to post on the MeetUp Event Page to share in our memories and also help to promote and grow the group. By joining this group, you automatically agree to your photo being taken and posted on the MeetUp Platform or other social media.
There will be no bullying, harassing or slander of any member, host or organizer in any way whatsoever and will result in immediate removal from the group.
There will be no soliciting of any kind with regard to a business, items for sale, apartments for rent or other MeetUp groups.
Members assume responsibility and attend events at their own risk. Organizers, Hosts or attendees will not be held liable for injuries, lost items or damages sustained by attendees during an event. Members shall indemnify and hold the Organizer, Host or Members harmless from any claims, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from such damages, losses, or injuries.
Please be clear that this group is not for pick-up or seduction techniques, or wingman tactics. Hands to yourself. No means No. Stalking, harassing or bothering members in any way is taken very seriously. Reports of such behavior to the MeetUp Organizer will result in investigation and immediate removal from the group and potentially from the MeetUp platform.

At noon, we will split up to grab food at our food truck of choice and then meet back at our chairs at 12:15-12:30 p.m. to stay for the music performance.*Some will be coming from Greenbrook Sanctuary hike and arrive around 2:30-3:00 p.m.

Spring is finally here! Join MINGLE AROUND SINGLES as we enjoy weekly hikes outdoors in nature. Each week, we will walk, hike or stroll at a different hidden gem of nature in the local area.
This week we will enjoy an easy to moderate 4-5 mile hike at the beautiful RAMAPO RESERVATION nestled in the beautiful Ramapo Mountains in Mahwah, NJ.
Meet after work at 4pm by the trailhead sign located on the right side of the parking lot, where we will begin today's walk in nature along a dirt path, across the two bridges, one which crosses the Ramapo River, and then continue counterclockwise around the lower lake. We will stop for pictures at the bridge overlooking the Ramapo River and make a few photo stops as we walk around the lower lake to take in the beauty of nature. After we make our way around the lower lake, we will head slightly down the hill bearing right on a dirt path that leads to a stream, cross the bridge and head up the man made stairs to a beautiful waterfall. We will stop at the waterfall to rest, hydrate and take some photos. After we are done taking photos, we will continue up the hill toward the upper lake bearing right at the top, where we will continue to walk the perimeter of the lake going counter clockwise. This is an easy walk around the perimeter of the lake. After walking the perimeter of the lake, we will head back down the mountain on the main path and exit our journey.
This is a beautiful park and you will not want to miss out on this beautiful peace of heaven on earth. Lots of photo opportunities.
Wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring a bottle of water.

Join MINGLE AROUND SINGLE'S in the barn at BLUE ARROW FARM for a live TOM PETTY tribute performance by this incredibly talented TOM PETTY tribute band, PURE PETTY as they perform your favorite TOM PETTY tunes.
Get ready to be transported back in time as PURE PETTY delivers an electrifying performance of all your favorite TOM PETTY hits. From "Free Fallin'" to "I Won't Back Down" and everything in between, these talented musicians will have you singing and dancing all night long.
PURE PETTY was formed in 2019 by lifelong, accomplished musicians hailing from the Philadelphia area. Jimmy Mannix (TOM PETTY) performed for years in numerous bands and would consistently be reminded of his uncanny vocal and physical resemblance to PETTY. He is joined by only the top musicians in the area, including his brother Joe on drums and Kathy Mattson whose vocals take PURE PETTY to a level well above the rest. Her performances of STEVIE NICKS / TOM PETTY duets on songs like “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” and “Insider” are spot on and mesmerizing!
PURE PETTY's mission has been to recreate the music of TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS with precision, intense attention to detail and unswerving respect for a revered musical legacy. Everyone's parts are intensely studied, down to the inflections in the way each word of every lyric is sung. Close your eyes and you won't know the difference. Open them and you still might be fooled!

Enjoy the artistic beauty of BLUE ARROW FARM and mosey through the sunflower mazes and butterfly sanctuary as you marvel at the life-sized dinosaurs and ride the Blue Arrow Express train around a half-mile track! The ambiance of the farm and the numerous varieties of trees and flowers enliven your senses. While you're there, don’t forget to take pictures of the farm's herd of rescued horses, all being pampered and watched over by the magnificent staff of horse experts. Come enjoy their awesome hospitality!
BLUE ARROW FARM is the brainchild of Don Oriolo, a lifelong animal activist. When the overgrown, falling down farm came up for sale, Don made a commitment to buy it and bring it back to its one-time glory of the winter headquarters for the Meadowlands racehorses — the difference being that Don’s mission was to create a loving, safe environment for the horses (and every other animal for that matter) that need rescuing from ofttimes deplorable conditions. Don took this on using his own personal resources. Horses, alpaca, cows, sheep, goats, mules, chickens, ducks, and pigs who were tossed away, being sent to slaughter, were all rescued and given sanctuary by Don and his amazing staff. Don also spearheaded the biggest cat rescue of over 200 cats recorded in the history of the northeast, contracting a chronic airborne illness in the process. Blue Arrow Farm is a nonprofit 501(c)(3).
The owner of Blue Arrow Farm, Don Oriolo is well known across the entertainment spectrum, having been a fixture in the art, music, television and film industries for decades. He took over the Felix the Cat franchise when his father Joe Oriolo, co-creator of the modern day Felix cartoon character, passed away in 1985, and has become beloved as the “Felix the Cat guy” for his work in continuing the legacy.
He is also widely admired for his charitable and philanthropic endeavors — the latest of which being Blue Arrow's commitment to providing a sanctuary for animals in need.Sadly, animals don’t know about economics, shortages, or lack of business. They need to eat, range, and be sheltered. This is what Don and his staff continue to do at BLUE ARROW FARM! Everything you can imagine, from hay, to grain, medicine, vets, electric, and so on has inflated out of control. They are planning on having a benefit once a month at Blue Arrow with all proceeds going to the welfare of the horses, cows, alpaca, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs, etc. Of course there will be entertainment and refreshments, and the personal touch of the Blue Arrow staff that everyone has come to love will still be front and center. We hope you will support this wonderful cause.
