# Milton Keynes Sociable Walkers

A warm welcome from Mark and Nigel to the Milton Keynes Sociable Walkers Meetup group!
We’re a friendly and sociable group, welcoming adults of all ages and backgrounds who enjoy the great outdoors, good company, and meeting new people.
We organise weekly walks of around 5–7 miles every Saturday morning, whatever the weather. Our walks are a great opportunity to get some fresh air, enjoy some exercise, meet like-minded people, and build new friendships along the way.
Our walks take place primarily in Milton Keynes and the surrounding counties, taking in beautiful countryside, scenic landscapes, local wildlife, green spaces, and some urban areas and sites of historical interest.
Whether you’re an experienced walker or simply looking for an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning, you’ll be very welcome. There’s no need to walk alone when you can enjoy the benefits of fresh air, exercise, and good company with a friendly group.
Walking is a fantastic way to support your overall health and well-being, and our typical 5–7 mile walks are an ideal way to work towards 10,000 steps while enjoying the outdoors.
Come along, enjoy the walk, make some new friends.
We look forward to welcoming you.

Please Note
These are not gentle walks — we usually walk at a pace of around 3 to 3.5 miles per hour, so they can be quite brisk.

Please stay behind the walk leader—they set the pace and need to stay at the front to keep the group together and make sure the walk stays safe and runs smoothly.

Please be kind, respectful, and mindful of others. Let’s keep this a welcoming and friendly space for everyone!

Unfortunately dogs aren’t permitted on our walks.

If you’d like to join our group, please provide a clear photo of yourself so we can recognise you when you arrive.
If this is an issue for any reason, please don’t hesitate to contact Mark on 07956 893 893

Please wear suitable clothing and comfortable, appropriate footwear, and remember to bring some water or refreshments with you.

We sometimes meet for a drink after the walk. This is entirely optional, but everyone is very welcome to join us if they wish.

If you’re unable to attend, please update your RSVP as soon as possible. This helps us avoid delaying the start of the walk and gives someone else the opportunity to join us. Thank you!
