Zoo Boo: Family Night Event
We are thrilled to bring back our beloved Halloween celebration: this time under the moonlight! For the past few years, this fang-tastic event has taken place during the day, but this year we’re brewing up one spooktacular evening the whole family can enjoy.

Come dressed in your favorite costumes and enjoy a night full of Halloween-themed decorations, ghoulish games, wickedly fun prizes, and plenty of sweet treats. Explore the zoo after dark and discover what our animal residents are up to when the sun goes down. It’s sure to be a howling good time you won’t want to ghost!

There may be a regular admission charge.

It’s October, let’s do something spooky-
Newport guided ghost tour. We will walk the streets of Newport learning stories of the past.

We will meet at 7:30pm to catch up with each other at the meeting spot on the 2nd floor, in the lobby next to the Mainsail restaurant in the hotel. General tour meeting time is 7:45pm we depart walking at 8pm. Dress warm!

Yet the city harbors echoes of a dark and turbulent past, including a variety of haunted sites: the Jailhouse Inn, Astor’s Beechwood, the White Horse Tavern―America’s oldest tavern―and many more. These tours show a side of Newport that history books alone could never tell, and help you peer past the city’s gilded façade to discover dark secrets sure to spook and surprise.
Ghost Ships, Graveyard Crypts, and much much more! Take a lantern-led evening stroll down historic Newport, Rhode Island’s shadowy lanes and discover the ghosts, ghouls, and legends of our haunted city by the sea. Our Professional Guides will light your way.

The Old Town Ghost Walk lasts roughly 90 minutes walking less than 1 mile. The tour travels at a leisurely pace over Newport sidewalks, so it is accessible to everyone. Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted as well so our Ghost Walk is accessible to everyone.Tours depart nightly, rain or shine, next to the Mainsail Restaurant and Skiff Bar on the 2nd floor of the Newport Marriott. Tours last approximately 90 minutes, walking less than one mile.

Important Information
Please keep on mind, we do not end at the staring location. So if you are unfamiliar with Newport, either follow your guide back to the Marriott after the tour or ask them for specific direction.

Tour is wheelchair assessable.
This is an outdoor tour, rain or shine.

Let’s paint and play! We are going to go over several painting techniques, tools, games and chance to work with the materials in a no pressure, non-specific subject session.

You can free style and learn or just play with the paint on canvas.

There will be an instructor lead in the beginning hour and final hour to work at your own level, pace and exploration.

Supplies and refreshments included during session. Your painted creation is yours to keep, gift or trade.

Additional food and beverages can also be self-pay ordered separately and brought to the space.
