Come join us for brunch and a casual beach walk! Please bring cash if possible to pay for your meal… experience has shown that this makes it easier… servers do not always like to ring up multiple credit cards!

Join us for a night of laughter at L'Auberge Del Mar, presented by the Del Mar Village Association in partnership with Bits Comedy.

Enjoy a live stand-up show at the Jim Watkins Amphitheater. Show runs from 8:00–10:00 PM.

However BEWARE...it's a small theater and seats fill up FAST. Please arrive ONE HOUR early...at 7 PM (allow time for parking and walking to the small theater). After putting down your blanket or lawn chair to claim your spot, you can enjoy a picnic while visiting with new friends.

I recommend either bringing your own food or arriving even earlier at 6:30 PM to allow time to claim a spot then run over to one of the nearby restaurants to grab a sandwich or slice of pizza.

We will spend the first hour socializing then enjoy the show!
This complimentary event is first come, first served, so make allowances for traffic and parking...and don't forget that lawn chair.

I will arrive around 6:15 PM to try and claim a large enough area for all of us...but holding this will not be possible past 7:30 PM as by then it's usually full and people are trying to cram into any available spot. Look for me on the grass with a large blanket and a balloon!

Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park is a designated local, state and National Historic Landmark.

Be welcomed to Rancho de los Quiotes— Leo Carrillo’s Ranch of the Spanish Daggers. This is his Hollywood retreat. Leo was a Los Angeles-born stage and screen actor and a descendant of one of California’s early Spanish families. From 1937 to 1961, this working ranch was Leo’s romantic re-creation of an early Spanish and Mexican lifestyle. Here at the ranch, where the valleys echoed with the bellow of cattle and the whinny of horses, the tranquility he felt decades ago is still felt here today.

We will meet at 9:50 AM at the Welcome Kiosk in the parking lot.

Don't be surprised if you see an occasional "Peafowl" among us! There is a Peafowl Pride living at the ranch. More commonly known as "Peacocks", this Peafowls are the descendants of the 6 Peafowl's that Leo Carrillo brought to his ranch back in 1937.

First event is free! If you decide you would like to continue enjoying growing your new friendships in the group and attending additional events, continued membership in North County Women's Social Group is $10. This is payable at your 2nd event. CASH is prefered, however organizer also can take Zelle.
The membership fee covers the 2x yearly (every 6 months) fee of $178.99 that the Meetup App charges organizers to host a group. This is $357.98 a year in costs to the organizer just to have access to make a group and post events.
Researching, setting up and posting events takes time. Please RSVP to events responsibly. If you decide to not attend, you must change your status in the meetup app to NOT attending. Failure to do this, or to text the organizer that you are no longer able to attend, will be noted as a NO SHOW. Two or more No Show's will possibly result in the loss of membership in the group.
