Explore & More has been invited to join a PRIVATE sunset cruise scheduled by Jackie who is the organizer for the Meetup group: Hiking, Fitness & Social Events. Please come celebrate Jackie's 🎂BIRTHDAY🍻 on a beautiful sunset cruise.
Children 12 and over are welcome.
Join us for a relaxing two hour PRIVATE sunset cruise on the Delafort. We will depart from Delaware City, heading north up the Delaware River and turning around under the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Jackie has taken this cruise twice and said the sights were absolutely amazing. We will depart in daylight and return at night, which will allow us to see what things look like in the day and night. It's beautiful underneath the Delaware Memorial Bridge!!
Maximum capacity is 50 people.
COST - $20 per person
Jackie has reserved a private cruise and
your payment of $20 is due to Jackie when you sign up. After you sign up, she will send you her Venmo or Paypal information.
Food & Beverages:
Each person is responsible for bringing their own light snacks, beverages and ALCOHOL. Yes alcohol is permitted!! There are no snacks or beverages available on the cruise, so you will need to bring your own.

The Mushroom Festival opens at 9:00am on Sunday, September 13, but that doesn't mean we are meeting at 9:00. Please make your way to your desired parking area and take the shuttle to State Street. Everyone can see the vendors at their own pace between 9:00 and 11:45.
We will meet for lunch at Trattoria La Tavola, 127 East State Street at 11:45 (great pizza and Italian dishes). We can also visit the vendors after lunch as well.

The Kennett Square Mushroom Festival and Street Fair spans approximately one mile along State Street and surrounding roads.
Accessible parking areas and restrooms are available.

ADMISSION
Entry to the Mushroom Festival is $5.00 per person. Festival-goers will receive a wristband that must be worn for admission. Cash & Venmo only.

You are on your own to visit the festival at your own pace. Please remember to meet at the restaurant for lunch at 11:45. Bring cash for everything, including lunch. Most of this Festival is cash only.

Join us for the 2026 Fall Harvest Festival at Newlin Grist Mill. We'll take a short hike to the dam/waterfall and then visit the festival and have lunch.

A local favorite, the Fall Festival features a wide variety of historic skills and trades demonstrations, archaeological excavations and activities, displays from local historical organizations, and hands-on activities! In addition, there will be a Community Corner featuring local businesses and organizations, as well as food vendors.
Admission to the Fall Festival is free. Parking is $10 per car. Shuttle buses between the parking area and the festival site will run every 15 minutes throughout the event.
