Banff Hut to Hut Glacier Backpacking and Hiking

Banff Hut to Hut Glacier Backpacking and Hiking

Join us on a Banff Canada Hiking + Hut-to-Hut Backpacking Adventure for women only! During your 6-day trip, backpack hut-to-hut in the remote backcountry of Banff National Park. Enjoy day hikes through the towering mountains and glacier fed lakes of the Canadian Rockies. This is not the maple syrup harvest your aunt went to that one time. This is Wild Canada, sister! **GUIDED HIKING IN BANFF, CANADA NATIONAL PARKS** First, spend three days hiking in and exploring nearby national and provincial parks. The town of Banff is surrounded on all sides by them, boasting some of the most beautiful landscapes that Canada offers. Experience the iconic hiking trails in the surrounding parks, the atmosphere of the quaint mountain town, and the quiet backcountry bliss amongst flanneled femmes. Day-hike to turquoise glacier fed lakes, past waterfalls, along pointed mountain ridge lines, and through luscious green valleys. Snap an iconic photo by Moraine Lake to add to your Instagram feed. You’ll feel as if you’re in a fairy tale admiring the chateau from Lake Louise. Also enjoy exploring lesser known trails as our local guides share their favorites hikes. You could be hiking to glacier fed lakes in Banff National Park, past stunning waterfalls in Yoho National Park, up and over a mountain pass in Kananaskis Country and more. **EXPLORING DOWNTOWN BANFF** Each evening, we’ll return to our downtown Banff hotel, roll on some deodorant, and head out on the town to dine as a group. In your free time, soak your beautiful bones in one of the outdoor hot tubs or curl up cat-like beside the outdoor fireplace. Buzzed storytelling is encouraged. **CANADIAN ROCKIES HUT-TO-HUT GUIDED BACKPACKING AND GLACIER CROSSING** On the final three days of your adventure, we leave behind the hustle and noise of Banff and its tourists. Load up a 70L backpack with glacier crossing gear and all of the essentials for a hut-to-hut trek across the Wapta Icefields of the Canadian Rockies. The Icefields are rolling, gentle glaciers that you will trek up and over during the course of three days. Experience first hand a rapidly disappearing mountain landscape while immersing yourself in a truly remote and unique, backcountry environment. Your destination each evening is rustic, remote alpine huts high up in mountains. There aren’t many backcountry treks that you can get the alpine trifecta—glaciers, mountains, and cozy alpine huts! **ALL MAJOR BACKPACKING AND GLACIER CROSSING GEAR PROVIDED** * 70L backpack * sleeping bag * mountaineering boots * climbing harness * climbing helmet * crampons * ice axe * ropes **See the website for full itinerary, details and to book.** [https://explorerchick.com/adventures/banff-hut-to-hut-hiking-adventure/](https://explorerchick.com/adventures/banff-hut-to-hut-hiking-adventure/) **Say Hello 👋** **💻** Website: [https://explorerchick.com/](https://explorerchick.com/) 📧 Email: [hello@explorerchick.com](http://hello@explorerchick.com/) 📸 Instagram: [https://www.instagram.com/explorerchickadventureco/](https://www.instagram.com/explorerchickadventureco/) ❤️ Facebook: [https://www.facebook.com/ExplorerChickAdventureCo/](https://www.facebook.com/ExplorerChickAdventureCo/) 👯‍♀️ Facebook Group: [https://www.facebook.com/groups/weareexplorerchick](https://www.facebook.com/groups/weareexplorerchick) 🎥 TikTok: [https://www.tiktok.com/@explorerchick](https://www.tiktok.com/@explorerchick)

Acadia Hiking And Coastal Maine Adventure

Acadia Hiking And Coastal Maine Adventure

From Explorer Chicks of San Francisco

### Exploration, Exhilaration, And Eleanor! Get ready for non-stop whiffs of sweet pine as you hike the startingly beautiful coastlines of Maine and Acadia National Park. This 7-day women’s trip takes you far away from a world where everyone needs you… and it includes a sneaky visit into Canada. It all starts in Portland, Maine where we rendezvous, exchange bff necklaces, and hop in the SHE-nanigan Shuttle to our first hike… which is THE best hike. We’ll scale the famous iron rungs of The Beehive, peer into the crystal-clear waters of Bowl Pond, and gape at stunning shoreline cliffs as we explore Gorham Mountain and Sand Beach. Next we’ll scramble the summits of The Bubbles, eat our body weight in seafood in Bar Harbor, and spend an entire day exploring Acadia via sea kayak. Bald eagles, porpoises, otters, and seals send their love and may even pose for a photo thanks to the glorious nature freaks leading our aqua-safari. We’ll tiptoe into the quietside of Acadia, where crowds never reach. And you’ll get your unmissable photo of Somesville Bridge, dammit! At the end of each day, you’ll rest your gorgeous head at our epic Glampsite. Enjoy real beds, ensuite bathrooms, hot showers, good coffee, and the best laughs of your life. Leave the cooking and the backcountry picnics to us. When we leave our Glampsite after four nights, we’ll enjoy one more hike along the Bold Coast Trail, brimming with badass drop-offs and gorgeous views of the Bay of Maine. We’ll break for beers and battered cod in the darling seaside town of Lubec, Maine. And then we’ll whip out our passports to casually cross into Canada like it’s another Tuesday. This is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. For two nights, we’ll stay in a historic cottage and working museum inside Roosevelt Campobello International Park, the grounds where Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt’s magnificent summer home is preserved! Fangirl over Eleanor, one of the OG feminists and human rights activists, as we explore the places she called home and even enjoy afternoon tea in her honor. So much First Lady energy! We’ll sneak in a sunrise lighthouse hike and explore more of the epic shoreline of New Brunswick before our last East Coast supper. Can we change our names and stay here foreverrrr? **See the website for full itinerary, details and to book.** [https://explorerchick.com/trip/womens-acadia-hiking-and-coastal-maine-tour/](https://explorerchick.com/trip/womens-acadia-hiking-and-coastal-maine-tour/) **Say Hello 👋** **💻** Website: [https://explorerchick.com/](https://explorerchick.com/) 📧 Email: hello@explorerchick.com 📸 Instagram: [https://www.instagram.com/explorerchickadventureco/](https://www.instagram.com/explorerchickadventureco/) ❤️ Facebook: [https://www.facebook.com/ExplorerChickAdventureCo/](https://www.facebook.com/ExplorerChickAdventureCo/) 👯‍♀️ Facebook Group: [https://www.facebook.com/groups/weareexplorerchick](https://www.facebook.com/groups/weareexplorerchick) 🎥 TikTok: [https://www.tiktok.com/@explorerchick](https://www.tiktok.com/@explorerchick)

Adventure League level: 1-4 (log sheet needed if above 1st level) New players: welcome (no experience necessary) This is a ongoing D&D 5 Adventure League group. We have games running every other Saturday from 4:00pm-10pm at private residences in Berkeley. Each of our GMs is running a different season (storyline) and runs a game every two weeks on average. Players are invited to play in a game every two weeks (often staying in the same storyline, but may play in multiple storylines if desired). We have events that tie the seasons together in various ways. The group has been running for several years now, with players of all experience levels. Adventure League is set in the world of Forgotten Realms. There is often room at games and you are welcome to contact the coordinator (Josiah) to be invited to future games. No experience is necessary (you're welcome to bring a existing Adventure League character from previous play as long as you have a full Adventure Log to share). Campaign Website: Berkeley Adventure League (https://sites.google.com/site/berkeleyadventuresleague/) Coordinator: Josiah Knight (Cell 510-470-4004; Email josiahknight@gmail.com) Note: Make sure to join and check the Facebook group to get invited to games, as this Meetup does not reflect whether the game is full or not. While many groups may host regular events each weekend, availability depends on the specific group and organizer. Check the group calendar to stay updated.

Once you find an event that interests you, click RSVP on the Meetup event page. This lets the organizer know you're attending and helps you stay informed about details.

While many events are led by knowledgeable hosts, Meetup itself does not supervise events. Details vary, so participant safety is always a personal responsibility.

It's wise to check event descriptions for gear requirements. Basic outdoor clothing and footwear are essential; some hikes may need specific equipment.
