Acadia Hiking And Coastal Maine Adventure

### Exploration, Exhilaration, And Eleanor! Get ready for non-stop whiffs of sweet pine as you hike the startingly beautiful coastlines of Maine and Acadia National Park. This 7-day women’s trip takes you far away from a world where everyone needs you… and it includes a sneaky visit into Canada. It all starts in Portland, Maine where we rendezvous, exchange bff necklaces, and hop in the SHE-nanigan Shuttle to our first hike… which is THE best hike. We’ll scale the famous iron rungs of The Beehive, peer into the crystal-clear waters of Bowl Pond, and gape at stunning shoreline cliffs as we explore Gorham Mountain and Sand Beach. Next we’ll scramble the summits of The Bubbles, eat our body weight in seafood in Bar Harbor, and spend an entire day exploring Acadia via sea kayak. Bald eagles, porpoises, otters, and seals send their love and may even pose for a photo thanks to the glorious nature freaks leading our aqua-safari. We’ll tiptoe into the quietside of Acadia, where crowds never reach. And you’ll get your unmissable photo of Somesville Bridge, dammit! Bay Area D&D 5e Adventure League group

Adventure League level: 1-4 (log sheet needed if above 1st level) New players: welcome (no experience necessary) This is a ongoing D&D 5 Adventure League group. We have games running every other Saturday from 4:00pm-10pm at private residences in Berkeley. Each of our GMs is running a different season (storyline) and runs a game every two weeks on average. Players are invited to play in a game every two weeks (often staying in the same storyline, but may play in multiple storylines if desired). We have events that tie the seasons together in various ways. The group has been running for several years now, with players of all experience levels. Roaming Crocker Amazon and San Bruno Mountain

On the 15th we will cross city limits and head up to the saddle of San Bruno Mountain again. On the way we will visit one of the city's less fashionable neighbourhoods, Crocker Amazon. I have been wanting to do this roam again for a while, but waited until the bathroom rebuild at the San Bruno Mountain picnic area was finished - which it now is (and I rate the new bathrooms pretty highly!) As you can imagine, there is some climbing involved to get onto the mountain, though perhaps not as much as you might think. There is also a short steep scramble on dirt to get off it. We will take a few off-road trails on the mountain itself. *Bringing water, snacks, and layers for all the microclimates is the way to go.* *These roams are offered by donation. They are one way I am able to pay my rent in San Francisco.* *Punctuality is always appreciated, for the sake of everybody's time. Please send a message on the app before the start if you are running late, and we will either wait (up to ten minutes) of I will direct you on how to catch up. I've always been fond of Precita Park, and now that it has a new bathroom, there is even more reason to spend time there. You may not be able to name the other four parks nearby that we can visit on a Friday roam, but we will go and investigate them, on either side of Precita Creek, which lies buried under what is currently Cesar Chavez Street. We will do a bit of climbing on this one, part way up the north side of Bernal, and we will spend some of it in earshot of the freeway, though other parts will be very peaceful. *Bringing water, snacks, and layers for all the microclimates is the way to go.* *These roams are offered by donation.
