It will also provide an overview of how Bitcoin is taxed, including ordinary income and capital gains, supported by practical capital gains tax examples. In addition, attendees will learn about special considerations such as personal use assets, stablecoins, the potential tax consequences of leaving Australia, and important AML/CTF rules. A dedicated Q&A segment will allow participants to ask questions and engage directly with knowledgeable speakers. There's no fixed format, we just meet with like-minded individuals to discuss investing strategies and stock picks, at a bar or cafe. All levels of experience welcome. Second Friday of the month.
