An Authentic, Trusting & Powerful Men's Circle

Many of us arrive at MDI looking for something. At this point in our lives we have had several challenges. Some that have made us better, some that have rocked the foundation of everything we know and experience in our daily lives. We have felt isolated, alone, burdened, broken even. I was unsure that anything outside of me could hold solutions, or that it was possible for me to learn new ways of being that would connect me with other men-that I could find a place where I could develop into mature masculinity to be able to not only solve some of my problems, but learn how to lead teams of men. This begs a question: How is the world better off with Mature Masculine Leadership, and what is in it for me? Here are a few answers. If your interest is peaked, consider reaching out to us, claim your future... The world is significantly better off with **Mature Masculine Leaders** because such leadership brings a balanced, grounded, and principled approach to power, responsibility, and service. Here's how this benefits society: Mature masculine leaders typically embody **emotional regulation, self-mastery, and integrity**. This creates more stable governments, organizations, and families. These leaders don’t react impulsively or let ego drive decisions—they respond with clarity, long-term thinking, and accountability. *They become anchors in chaos.* The benefit to the world is **transformational**. Mature masculine leaders don't just govern—they **mentor, stabilize, and serve**. Their presence often leads to safer societies, stronger institutions, healthier families, and more cohesive communities. When men lead from maturity, not insecurity or domination, **everyone—regardless of gender—thrives.** Mentor Discover Inspire (MDI) is an international men's organization. You can also [visit our website ](https://www.mentordiscoverinspire.org/) to find out more about us. There is a form there which can help find an MDI Team in your area. If you fill out the form we will get back to you about starting the process of joining an MDI Team.

Get your Ticket [HERE](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/heart-on-paper-journaling-as-a-path-to-inner-wisdom-tickets-1992655214387?aff=oddtdtcreator) ### **Heart on Paper: Creative Offerings** Sometimes all it takes is a single line. A phrase that catches our attention. An unexpected question. A few words that linger long after we've read them. Inspiration has a way of finding us when we least expect it. In this month's journaling workshop, we'll explore the theme of **Creative Offerings**. Through poetry, playful prompts, and a little bit of chance, we'll discover how inspiration moves from one person to another—and how a simple creative spark can lead us somewhere entirely unexpected. As always, no writing experience is needed. This is not about crafting perfect stories, but about slowing down, listening inward, and seeing what emerges on the page. Bring a journal, a pen, and your curiosity. We’d love to write with you. **What to expect:** * Thoughtful and imaginative journaling prompts * A warm, welcoming space and supportive writers around you * Time to reconnect with yourself through writing, stillness, and presence Just bring a notebook, a pen, and a bit of curiosity. **Facilitated by:** **Janine Grossmann** and **Laura Paradise** – two certified coaches who believe in the power of words, self-trust, and the heart’s quiet guidance. You can learn more about this workshop series here: https://questforyou.com/writing/heart-on-paper/

Spec-Driven Development: The Rise of Builder PMs

Spec-Driven Development: The Rise of Builder PMs

Fri, Jul 24, 1:00 AM
From ProductTank SF
4.7

**Code got cheap. Clarity hasn't.** AI coding agents can now build almost anything you describe. The old bottle neck of writing code is gone. The new one is saying what to build clearly enough that an agent builds the right thing. This is the shift behind spec-driven development. Instead of prompting an agent and hoping, teams write a spec first: the behavior, the constraints, and what "good" looks like. The agent builds against it. In a world of disposable code, a long-lived spec becomes the artifact that matters most. Product managers have always turned ambiguity into something a team can ship. The PRD is used to align people. The **spec** **aligns** **people** ***and*** **agents**. This is the rise of the **Builder PM**: a product leader whose judgment is precise enough to direct a fleet of agents. Join ProductTank SF and Workato for a panel on spec-driven development and how it works inside real teams. **Key Takeaways** * How **spec-driven development** works * Why the PM role changes when **clarity** is **scarcer** than **code** * **PRD → Spec** and what that means for how you write requirements **The Panelists** * **Chris Butler** is Director of Product Operations on GitHub's Synapse team, where he leads experimentation in AI-powered process automation. He has held product roles at Microsoft, Waze, KAYAK, and Facebook Reality Labs. * **Swetha Sridharan** is a Principal Product Manager at Workato, the automation and integration platform. She builds AI-driven products that orchestrate work across an organization's apps, data, and agents. * **Albert Collell** is a Senior AI Product Leader at Qurrent and teaches product management at Stanford. He uses AI to raise decision quality and turn complexity into clarity at scale. **Special Thanks to our Generous Sponsor** **Workato**: the AI-powered automation and integration platform that lets teams orchestrate work across their apps, data, and agents. Thank you to Workato for hosting us and providing food and drinks. *Attendance will be first-come, first-served. We will close doors once we reach capacity; arrive early to secure a spot.*

This work has been powerful and deeply nourishing for me and I'd love to share it with you. I’ve never seen a practice more adept at melting the distance between two hearts. \~ Jon Cotton What does a Circle look like in terms of format, with the Original Circling Approach? A group of 4-10 people sit in a circle & put their attention primarily on one person, and, with the help of a facilitator, notice what it's like being with this person moment by moment, share impact & observations, and co-explore what that person’s experience and world is like, essentially getting into deep relationship with what is most true & alive for that person. A typical evening includes introductions, an exercise to practice authentic relating & 2 rounds of circling - each approximately 30 minutes in length. The experience of “being seen” for who we authentically are is one of the most rewarding experiences we can have as human beings, and the Original Circling Approach teaches us how to see & celebrate each person for the unique flavor they bring to the world. We don’t give advice or try to fix anyone. Rather, we welcome and stay with “what is”, so we can relax into the truth of our experience, feel supported & know we are not alone. “Circling practice is to get in a deep relationship with what is.” * Guy Sengstock, Founder of The Original Circling Approach For deeper understanding, see 6 Things the Circling Practice Does Really Well… http://www.circlinginstitute.com/what-is-original-circling-approach/ **REGISTRATION:** Advanced registration and $30 payment required (Our last event sold out a week ahead of time).
