You can also park for FREE in the neighborhood east of Main St on Pacific. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-WHAT TO BRING\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Bring water, sunscreen, and a football if you have one. But don't worry if you don't have one, we will provide the football's, field, flags, cones, etc. This is a fun pickup flag football game with zero pressure or rewards so there's no room for arguments, childishness, or anger issues. Meditation & Discussion: Coming Home to Ourselves

Many of us get caught up in the lives of others, to the extent that we lose ourselves. While we are all inter-dependent on each other, it's important to balance this with independence and individuation. We will practice and discuss. This event is based on Tristan's personal mastery approach, where we learn to make friends with our mind to cultivate personal growth and inner peace. We explore the intersections of Buddhism, Stoicism, modern Psychology, and other approaches towards this goal. Our practices generally include some of the following: * Meditation * Mindfulness * Metta (Loving-kindness) * Breathwork * Sound bath * Journaling No experience with these practices is necessary. Beginners are welcome! Even those of us who have been practicing for years are still learning, and we have so much to learn from each other. As they say in Zen, we must maintain a "beginners mind."
