DayTime Social (Coffee meetup)
Sat, Jul 18, 7:00 PMGet your free tickets here! You must have one -> https://daytimejuly.eventbrite.com Looking to meet new people without the pressure of a loud bar or late night event? DayTime Social is a relaxed coffee meetup where meaningful conversations happen naturally over your favorite drink. Whether you are an introvert, a social butterfly, working remotely, new to the city, or simply looking to expand your circle, this is the perfect opportunity to connect in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Toronto can feel surprisingly lonely, even when surrounded by people. It is not always easy to make genuine friendships as an adult. DayTime Social creates a space where meeting new people feels natural, easy, and enjoyable. Expect casual conversations, guided icebreakers, and a friendly atmosphere where everyone is open to connecting. There is no pressure, no awkward networking, and no expectations beyond enjoying good company over coffee. Most people arrive without knowing anyone. By the end of the meetup, you will have shared conversations, laughed together, and hopefully walked away with a few new friends. Whether you are looking to build your social circle, meet like minded people, or simply enjoy a change from your usual routine, DayTime Social is designed to make socializing feel effortless. Arrive Early Arriving at the beginning gives you the best opportunity to meet everyone as the group comes together. Grab your coffee, settle in, and enjoy the full experience from the start. What to Expect • Relaxed conversation with friendly people in a welcoming coffee shop • Fun icebreakers and optional conversation prompts to help everyone connect naturally • A cozy daytime atmosphere perfect for meaningful conversations • Coffee, tea, and food available for purchase. Everyone is expected to be kind, respectful, and help create a positive environment where everyone feels welcome. A Little About Social Creatures Social Creatures was created with one simple goal. To make it easier for people to build real friendships and meaningful connections in Toronto. What started as small community gatherings has grown into a welcoming space where strangers become friends through shared experiences, conversation, and fun events. DayTime Social continues that mission by offering a relaxed daytime experience for anyone looking to connect over coffee. Venue Etiquette • Please support our host venue by purchasing at least one drink or food item • Be respectful of the space, staff, and fellow attendees • Help create a welcoming atmosphere by including others in conversation FAQ Can I come alone? Absolutely. Most people attend on their own, and it is one of the easiest ways to meet new friends. Do I have to participate in the icebreakers? Not at all. They are completely optional, but they make meeting people much easier. Is this a dating event? No. DayTime Social is focused on building friendships and community. What should I bring? Just yourself, a positive attitude, and enough to purchase a drink or snack from the venue. Can I leave early? Of course. Stay as long as your schedule allows, although we encourage everyone to enjoy the full meetup. Will photos or videos be taken? Yes. We occasionally capture moments for social media and future event promotion. Please let the host know if you would prefer not to be photographed. Wed, Jul 29, 4:00 PMIf you sell or post anything, you know the friction: it looks great in person, but the photo falls flat — so you don't post, or you post something mediocre. Restaurants, people clearing inventory, car sales, creators — same problem, same lost momentum. In this session we'll show you what's genuinely possible now, where it fits you as a solo worker, and what it would take to put it to work in yours. We'll be using Claude Code & Cowork, and it'll be demo-led — I'll show you how I do it. If you want to follow along, please install Claude Code beforehand. You'll see how these tools figure things out for you and go beyond chatbots and conversation-based interaction. Essentially, you'll be building your own autonomous agent. Wanna know more?
