Apportez votre matériel de dessin, votre carnet de croquis, un tabouret pliable si vous en avez un. Tous niveaux bienvenus. A 17h, nous nous retrouverons au point de rendez vous initial pour aller prendre un café ensemble, afin de discuter et partager nos dessins. This Sunday we will draw at Cimetière du Père Lachaise. We will meet in front of the metro Père Lachaise at 2:30 p.m. Bring your drawing materials, your sketchbook, a folding stool if you have one. All levels welcome. At 5 p.m., we will meet at the initial meeting point to go have a coffee together, to discuss and share our drawings.

🔎Deuxième cycle de cette année, essentiel mais intimidant à aborder seul·e : les volumes! Qui nous aideront à comprendre le modelé, les directions, la profondeur et les ombres. Nous poursuivons notre compréhension de la profondeur avec un cours un peu plus théorique ciblé sur les raccourcis, puis sur son application plus ludique au travers des rentrées de contours. On se retrouve à 19h30, mais qui veut peut arriver au local à partir de 19h pour grignoter, discuter! Attention, le local a changé, il s'agit maintenant de la Générale, près de la mairie du 14ème. Join us for an untutored life drawing session with a female model. Please bring whatever art materials you're comfortable with. Each session begins with warm-up short poses of two minutes, which are then followed by a series of 5-25 minute poses. The subjects are professional nude models, working for the Académie de la Grande Chaumière as well other Parisian art schools and ateliers. Please bring your preferred art materials. After the session, we come together for a relaxed drink and chat. It's a chance to share your drawings from the session and discuss drawing tips & techniques. You can also connect with fellow artists, exchange contacts, and promote your artistic projects. Join us for a long pose workshop with a female model, led by figurative artist John Kelly. The session consists of 45 minutes of drawing or painting, followed by a 15-minute break, and then another 45 minutes with the same pose. John will be present throughout the entire session to offer individual guidance on the principles of drawing and painting from life. If you prefer a more self-directed approach, you are welcome to work independently at any time. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. It offers a supportive environment to develop your artistic style while exploring different aspects of academic drawing or painting, experimenting with new techniques, or refining compositional ideas. It's designed to guide your exploration of the human form through an anatomical lens while capturing the model's emotional presence. As always, posing for you are professional fine art models affiliated with the Beaux-Arts de Paris and other Parisian life drawing ateliers. Please bring your preferred art materials.
