The Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Association is a real estate investing association providing a conduit to learn, network and grow your real estate or note investments.
We provide a safe environment to learn through speaker presentations, a network of contacts and vendors, discussions on current real estate market conditions and a lending library. Meetings are open to everyone.
Our mission is "to attract, serve and encourage Real Estate investors and professionals of all levels to acquire and share practical knowledge of Real Estate investment concepts through education, discussion and networking which leads to action."
Our vision is to become one of the premier real estate clubs nationally for the educational & networking experience; which leads to attendees putting together deals and helping and teaching others to do it also.

David Tilney is a household name in the real estate community when it comes to property management and master-leasing but in case you haven't heard of him...
David started buying houses in 1978 and would hire out the management only to receive dismal results. He quickly learned that property acquisition was the easy part of real estate investment. The key to long-term success was, and still is, good management.
David's management philosophy has always been to treat their tenants the way they would like to be treated, while maintaining strong controls to assure maximum profitability with a minimum of hassles.
David, along with his wife, Mary, continue to manage their own rental portfolio, as well as ‘master lease’ single-family homes of other owners and investors. They collect all rents (utilizing ACH software) prior to the first of each month and they have experienced only one eviction back in 1981. Most of their tenants rent from them for multiple years and they have had two couples who rented from them for 25 and 18 years respectively.
