Let's Go To the Movies & More is an inclusive group-whatever your gender or age, Welcome!
What are we about? We love getting together for brunch, lunch, or dinner and going to the Movies and an occasional live event. Our activities are focused in the Peninsula of the Bay Area from Daly City to Mountain View.
Administrative Trivia:
We are member supported and appreciate donations which are applied towards the organizer $350 annual subscription cost.
Group communication is managed via event posts and Direct Messages-please make sure to check your DMs.
Activity Payment is facilitated via contactless payments (Venmo, Applecash, Zelle; Cash is also welcome. Attendees are always responsible for their own costs, tax, and tip.
Attendee participation is voluntary. Organizers are released from all liability, injury, or illness of attendees.

Dim Sum @ Palette Tea Garden, Hillsdale San Mateo-Family Style Meal

Palette Tea Garden serves delicious dim sum (some fusion dishes) in an aesthetically pleasing environment. Located at the Northwest side of Hillsdale Mall (newer addition), there's plenty of shopping and other activities and it's a festive time of year which makes this mall an insta-worthy, fun destination.
Reservation for table for 10 confirmed.
Please commit to attending this event by managing your RSVP before December 18th, 10 PM. I will post a comment and send out direct messages as a reminder and for confirmation of attendance on that day.
Dim Sum is family style (shared plates) dining. Please expect dishes such as Curry Beef Puffs, Yuzu Walnut Prawn, Pork Soup Dumpling, Garlic Pea Tendrils, & Classic Shrimp Dumplings.
We will evenly split the total cost of the food, tax, tip, mandate if applicable. (Approx $45 per person; Crab, lobster, Wagyu dishes will increase this price). Individuals ARE responsible for the cost of their beverages (hot tea, soda, or cocktail-full bar is available), it will be added to the individual's total amount due.
Please be on time. PROMPT attendance of whole party is required for seating.

Attendees are responsible for their own ticket. Currently there are limited showings for Standard, Most everything is in 3D, if this is not favored we'll wait for Standard Showing updates. For now, Please purchase advance TICKETS for the 1:55 PM REAL3D Matinee; I'm seated at F9. Post your seat number in comments.
We'll meet in the lobby around 1:50 for meet and greet and to grab drinks and snacks just before the movie.
