We are an inclusive LBTQ+ walking group based in West Yorkshire and the North West!

Whether you're here for the fresh air, the friendly company, or to connect with community, you’re in the right place. 🥾🌳

This is a safe and welcoming space for lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women, as well as non-binary people who feel a connection to the lesbian community. We value kindness, respect, and the joy of being outdoors together.

If you’d like to host a walk, just let us know. 🙋‍♀️ We’re always happy to support members who want to get more involved.

£1 Meetup Fee
A £1 fee per event applies to help support group costs.

Participation at Your Own Risk
By attending any LBW event, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Personal Responsibility
* All participants take part at their own risk.
* Walks may be physically demanding and carry inherent risks.
* You are responsible for assessing your own fitness, health, and ability to participate.
* Bring appropriate clothing, footwear, and equipment (e.g., boots, waterproofs, map, compass), along with any required medication, food, and drink.

Volunteer Hosts
* Our hosts are unpaid volunteers, not professional leaders or first aiders.
* They accept no liability for accidents, injuries, or losses.

RSVP & Event Attendance
* Only members registered on Meetup who have RSVP’d and been accepted may attend.
* Guests or “plus ones” are not permitted unless they are also registered and RSVP’d.
* If you RSVP “Yes” and later cannot attend, you must update your RSVP.
* Failure to update your RSVP for three events may result in removal from the group.
* Anyone not RSVP’d may be asked to leave.

Punctuality
* Events will start promptly at the advertised time.
* Hosts are not expected to wait for late arrivals.
* Please aim to arrive 10–15 minutes early.

Dog Policy
* Dogs must be under close control and on a lead where required.
* Legal responsibility for dogs lies with the owner.
* Hosts have the final say on whether leads are necessary.

Leaving the Group Mid-Walk
* If you choose to leave early, you must inform the host.
* Failure to do so may lead to emergency services being contacted unnecessarily.

In Case of Emergency
Be prepared to provide the following:
* Location (grid reference or what3words)
* Name, gender, and age of the casualty
* Nature of the emergency
* Number of people in the group
* Your mobile number
Then dial 999 or 112, ask for Police, then Mountain Rescue, and stay where you are until help arrives.

Respect & Conduct
* Treat all members and hosts with kindness, encouragement, and respect.
* Aggressive behaviour, harassment, or disrespect will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the group.
