What we’re about
Welcome to the Lehigh Valley Cycling Club's Meetup Calendar. Here we list our cycling events, and some non-cycling fun as well. Our recreational, social rides are available at various paces and will take you mostly around the counties of Lehigh and Berks. We are blessed to experience the beauty that makes up this part of Pennsylvania.
While we are happy to see so many take an interest in our Ride Calendar, following here does not grant LVCC membership. We would be thrilled to have you all become dues paying LVCC members! Here are some of the benefits:
* We offer a full schedule of road and off-road rides for all levels.
* Insurance coverage for uncovered expenses if involved in a LVCC ride incident
* Grill 'n' Chill rides during the riding season and Annual Picnic
* Annual Holiday Party
* Overnight/weekend cycling trips
* Last but not least, LVCC is host to the now-famous Donut Derby!
Please see our website lvcycling.club for more information and contact info.
Keep up to date with our "Latest News" LVCC blog, linked from the main menu on the site.

30 Mile
25 MileEveryone must wear a helmet and individually sign the LVCC Waiver Release, which I will have with me, to ride with us. Joining Meetup and responding to this event is not a substitute for signing the waiver and if you ride more than 1 time on LVCC rides, you should formally join the club before riding again.

- Valley Preferred Cycling Center Saturday RideBob Rodale Cycling & Fitness Park, Breinigsville, PA
See/ post to comments for updates!
The route: Roy's Bowers Loop .
Social ride. Rolling terrain. LVCC rules apply.
social pace [n] :a ride pace where ideally, everybody can complete a coherent sentence hence facilitating interesting conversations
Wet roads will typically cancel (will endeavor to post weather conditions in comments each week). Recommend arriving either ready to go or ~15 minutes early. Please have your equipment in good working order, sign in, etc... Please arrive sufficiently early to attend mandatory riders' meeting ready to ride at 9:55. Ride will roll out promptly at 10:00.
Optional rest stop at Bowers Park.
Again, this is a social paced ride and I'll endeavor to keep the group together. Suggestions include having the route programmed in your GPS, bringing food/ hydration, and having a family LVCC membership (here's a convenient link- https://www.lvcycling.club/index.php/join) !
I hope to see you there.
***If you're also an event organizer, please leave a comment if you'd like to co-host. Since I likely won't be at every single one of these, and it's a repeating event, this would help. Plus, this way people can split into differently paced groups all with separate ride leads as well.
