What we’re about
This group is for you if:
- You yearn to break through the seemingly insurmountable cultural and ideological divides often referred to as the "culture wars".
- You yearn to seek the whole truth about the issues over which these culture wars are being fought.
- You desire to seek the whole truth together with other truth-seekers--especially truth-seekers from "the other tribe" (i.e. with un-like-minded people), in order to check one's own "confirmation bias".
We will generally start the conversation by watching, together, a short youtube clip dealing with some "culture war" issue or topic (members are welcome to recommend videos). We will be taking turns speaking, with time limits, and significant pauses between speakers (time for deep breathing), in order to slow the conversation down and encourage deep reflection on what other people are saying, and what we ourselves want to say.
