Hello and welcome!
I’m Sauce, your host for Cards & Game Night, happening every Thursday at Victory Pints. Whether you’re brand-new to board games or a seasoned hobby gamer, you’ll find friendly people, fun games, and a great atmosphere to unwind and connect.

People generally start arriving around 6 PM and usually wrap up around 10 PM. You’ll find us in the back room at Victory Pints, where we have a variety of games being played at several tables. Expect a mix of modern board games, from light and easygoing to thinky and complex, with folks happy to teach you the rules.

The staff is wonderful and they sell great drinks, snacks, and food, so come hungry, thirsty, and ready to have a good time! And if you’re looking to pick up a new game, definitely check out what Victory Pints has on their shelves they have great prices and supporting them helps keep this awesome local gaming space thriving.

We will be volunteering for People Working Cooperatively.

If you're not familiar with PWC, they help elderly and poor families do basic maintenance and minor home repairs.

Before you RSVP here, you must sign up on the PWC website.

As we get closer to the date we will be assigned a home that needs help and I will post more information.

*People of all skill levels can help. We do things from weeding gardens to hanging banisters.
*PWC provides lunch for free at their warehouse in Norwood
*PWC provides materials such as nails and paint
*You will need to bring your own tools (gloves, rakes, hedge trimmer, household tools).
*PWC is great at matching us with reasonable work so please do not worry about your abilities

Update: I visited the home we're working on, and the owner Ms B. She is a widower who has experienced a lot of personal tragedy lately so the help we are giving her is very meaningful. We're going to be cleaning up her yard and do a few minor repairs. This will be mostly manual labor so no special skills required.

Weather will be perfect Saturday morning! Join us and our friends from the Fifty Plus Group for a brisk springtime walk in the lovely village of Mariemont!

We'll meander through the lovely village of Mariemont, enjoying the quaint neighborhoods and scenic overlooks.

Saturday morning is expected to be in the 70s with partly sunny conditions.

We'll meet at 10am at the old Frisch's restaurant at 5760 Wooster Pike across from the firehouse. (Wooster Pike is a continuation of Columbia Parkway)

This group is for any fiber art and any experience level. It’s a time to come together to chat about your project, get help with a challenge, or talk about a variety of topics.

Covered drinks are welcomed.

If you want to learn how to crochet Trisha will be delighted to teach you. Please come with your own supplies: cotton or acrylic yarn of medium #4 weight with a hook of size H, I, or J. A pointy tip helps get into tight stitches.
