About us
This is a group of Dog lovers that like to socialize and get out for walks, hikes, or attend events with our 4 legged companions. We are all easy-going, dog-loving people, and we understand that some dogs need a little more time to warm up to the pack. Never hesitate to ask questions about our pack, We have some very knowledgeable dog lovers in this group! Hikes are from somewhat challenging and strenuous to very easy walks in the park. With skill levels ranging from beginner to expert and anywhere in between, all are welcome! We try to find dog-friendly restaurants locally to the hike where we can enjoy each other's company just a little longer. We also attend events organized by others where bringing our dogs are encouraged and accepted! We love exploring local, outdoor, dog-friendly locations and meet like-minded individuals, and we hope you would like to join us. Black Creek Preserve
Black Creek Preserve, Winding Brook Rd, Esopus, NY, USBlack Creek Preserve is a steep uphill climb at the start but they’ll love crossing the suspension bridge that spans the creek and The dogs can get in the water at the beginning of the hike in the stream and in the middle when we reach the Hudson River. Really neat suspension bridge over Black Creek to start your hike. The gradient is a bit challenging in two places, but overall it's a pleasant hike through the forest down to a rocky beach on the Hudson. We will probably hike 2 to 3 miles.
Remember to bring plenty of water for your companion and yourself. Dress according to the forecast. If snow or ice is on the trail you must bring spikes!

- This organizer reserves the right to add from the wait-list as I see fit. Please be on time! Most of your co-hikers arrive at the trail head 15-20 min early to be ready. Please show them the respect they deserve.
