This is a social club for people who want connect over clinking tiles. Salt Wind Mahjong hosts game nights, socials, and special retreats for every skill level 🀄️
Never touched a tile? Perfect. We'll have Hong Kong-style teachers on hand to get you playing early in your first session.
Already a player? Bring your own set, or use ours, come and wash tiles with us. (All styles welcome at the table).
SCORING! We've got you - we're introducing scoring from 2nd November onwards.
Enjoy good company, good snacks, and the satisfying clatter of tiles hitting the table. Come as you are, leave with a handful of new friends.
The basics:
Quick Event introduction - then a separate area for mahjong basics lesson for absolute beginners/new players to get you going. We'll have teachers helping you out all night.
Everyone else - 2 hours of mahjong with help on hand if you need us.

Every 1st Monday @ Entrepreneurs Sandbox from 6:00PM to 8:00PM

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to check in. We will be checking everyone in via Meetup, so please sign up via Meetup. Registration is only accepted through Meetup - we're unable to accommodate day-of sign-ups, cash payments, or registrations outside of Meetup. Space is limited!
Parking: Plenty of street meter parking on Ilalo St, free after 6 p.m. ($2/hr before). Sandbox parking lot (makai side) $2/hr 24/7 - Sandbox Members free in Sandbox spaces.
Sandbox Entrance: Please use the entrance on the Makai side of the building.
