What we’re about
We need collaborative relationships at home, work, and community to achieve individual and group goals. The first requirement for such a relationship is: Listening, Understanding, and Sharing our understanding with the speaker in a respectful manner. We will role play effective listening, utilizing resources like the following.

- "Just Listen: Discover the Secret to Getting Through to Absolutely Anyone" Book by Mark Goulston
- "Listening Well - The art of empathic understanding" Book by William Miller
- Reflective listening From Holding Hope (Marriage and Family therapy)
- "I am Right, You are Wrong, Now What" Book by Xavier Amador explains the LEAP tools: Listen- Empathize- Agree- Partner. LEAP Institute Videos and Podcasts
- Nonviolent Communication (NVC) - 9 one-hour audio books narrated by Marshall Rosenberg the founder. An introduction to Nonviolent Communication Transcript of a talk by the host of this group Surya
- "The Business of Listening" by Diana Bonet Romero

- The FIRST three meetings are FREE for each attendee.
