About us
Hiking and Activities Club California (HAACCA) is a vibrant community of members who share a love for nature, movement, and meaningful connection. Led by Effeigh, our hikes typically span 6–12 miles and often end with a relaxed picnic to unwind and connect further. Occasionally longer hikes!
More than just a hiking group, HAACCA opens doorways — perhaps most importantly — real friendships in a region where that's not always easy. Our hikes encourage members to unplug from tech, be present, and engage in genuine conversation while exploring some of the most beautiful trails California has to offer.
Hiking shouldn’t be gatekept. This community has given so much to me that I stepped up to lead and continue growing its positive impact. Whether you're new to hiking or a seasoned trekker, HAACCA welcomes you.
let’s hit the trail — I can’t wait to meet you!
