The club has stayed true to this mission - while increasing programs, field trips, workshops, and other services.
The Heard Nature Photographers meets on the Second Saturday of each month, at 10:00 AM in the Laughlin Room at the Heard Nature Museum.

Welcome to the Heard Nature Photography Club monthly meeting!
We meet at 10:00 AM on the second Saturday of each month at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary. In May we'll be meeting in the SRC at the end of the road in the center.
Our speaker for May will be Kim Leeson: "Discovering Details." Learn to see, experience and capture nature in an intimate way with a macro lens.
Kim Leeson has been a professional photographer for more than 25 years. Her clients have included People magazine, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and a wide array of industrial, educational and corporate publications.
She worked as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News from 1993-2004. Her work for the newspaper earned her awards from the Texas Headliners Foundation, the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association, Texas Associated Press Managing Editors, and the Association for Women Journalists.
Many also know Kim as an accomplished nature photographer whose specialty is capturing the extraordinary details of the natural world in urban environments.
