What we’re about
This group was started for people thirty years old and over who wish to connect and create a community within the Hertfordshire area.
We connect over different activities such as walking (friendly dogs welcome), coffees and chats, bowling, dinners, quiz and comedy nights and anything else going on throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
I am hoping to meet people who live in Hatfield, Herts or neighbouring areas to make friends and connect.

Quiz Night, Red Lion Pub, Hatfield
The Red Lion - Hatfield, 88 Great North Road, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL9 5EU, Hatfield, GBMeet new people and test your general knowledge in a quiz night at the Red Lion, Hatfield. There are 5 rounds, and it takes up to 2hrs.
RSVP asap to not miss out and so we can secure a table.
It costs £2 per person, payable to the venue on the night, and there is free parking too.
Half of the entry money goes to the winners and the other half is donated to the Hatfield Foodbank.
Each team can have up to 6 players and its a lovely way to meet new people and have fun. We all contribute to answer a few questions, as far as I am aware nobody is a hardcore quiz master.
If there are 6 people already, still RSVP because sometimes people drop out leaving the next person to be invited to join.

If you are a regular without annual membership its £5 per event
If you have paid £10 annual membership, then you do not need to pay anything.
We charge for this event as Meetup charge us £240 a year for our account.

If you fancy meeting up for some food prior then we can meet at 6pm, just let us know in the comments, so we can be there earlier.
As the winter nights close in, its an opportunity to meet new people, connect over a board game and meet like minded people.
If you have any board games you like to play feel free to bring them along.
