What we’re about
We're a hiking group and maybe a little bit more. Our goal is to get you up and active, make new friends and find your community.
We have hikes of different levels from beginner right through advanced. Don't see something you like? Volunteer to host your own hike - We strive to cover all across the GTA and always looking for quality hike leaders.
We also plan bigger activities throughout the year (hence the "Stuff") - Camping, BBQs, Kayaking, snowshoeing, tobogganing etc.
If you are looking to get out of the house more and haven't hiked much in the past, or if you have been out a few times, or even if you are advanced and looking for some harder trails, this group is for you.
Welcome to the group... go ahead and RSVP for one of our upcoming events!
This group is sponsored by Senior Executive Consulting.

[Hike - Beginner] Heber Down - Sock Collection for Christmas
W28J+VF Whitby, Whitby, ON, CANote: If you missed us at the Christmas Hike, we are continuing to collect socks until mid-January for SOCKs, (https://www.sockswarminghearts.com/) and am asking everyone to bring a package of socks which we will be donating to the local SOCKs chapter.
Last year, we donated 2 bags full of socks, so would love to top that this year!
Heber Down Conservation is a great spot for a beginner Hike.
This is a beginner/intermediate hike. We will stick to mostly flat and paved sections, although we will be going into the back trails where there could be mud. We will cover about 8km.
THIS HIKE STARTS AT 9:00AM
Bring a water bottle and dress for the weather.
Parts of the trail can get muddy from the rain. Be prepared.
We are going to meet at the Old Cullen Gardens. Intersection Cochrane & Taunton.
Go to the back of the parking lot near the new Pickleball courts. The path starts to the left of the picnic shelter.
Hike leaves promptly at 9:05AM
