Griffin Rainbow is a community for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies in Spalding County and the surrounding areas who are looking for connection, friendship, and fun. Whether you’re new to the area or have called it home for years, this is a space where everyone can feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
We believe in building a strong, positive, and welcoming community through meetups, hangouts, and shared experiences. This isn’t just a group—it’s a growing family of people who care about each other and about creating a more inclusive Spalding County.

An Empowering Outdoor Adventure for Women—Hey Griffin Rainbow family! 🌈 Whether you're a member of Griffin Rainbow or part of our extended community, we’d love for you to join us for a weekend getaway hosted by Girls Squad Camping. This event is open to all women, and Griffin Rainbow members are especially encouraged to join for an empowering and inclusive outdoor adventure!
This weekend is about bonding, connecting, and enjoying nature together in a welcoming space that’s Sapphic-inclusive. We’re creating a space where all women are celebrated, and everyone—regardless of identity—can feel safe, supported, and empowered.
✨ What to Expect:- Scenic Hikes through the beautiful Chattahoochee Bend
- Cozy Campfire Chats under the stars
- Group and Individual Games to keep things fun and engaging
- Shared Meals, Storytelling, and Plenty of Laughter
- Connections with like-minded women from diverse backgrounds
This event is hosted by Girls Squad Camping, and while it’s open to women from all walks of life, we are especially excited to have Griffin Rainbow members join us in this space that’s supportive of everyone, including those who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. We’re here to celebrate each other and create an unforgettable experience!

### 🏕 Campsite Info & Booking
To reserve your spot, please book your own campsite at Chattahoochee Bend State Park. We’ll be gathering on Campground #2, and here’s what you need to know:
- Walk-in Tent Sites: $20/night
- Drive-in RV/Tent Sites: $32/night (up to 2 tents or 1 RV + 1 tent per site; max 6 people per site)
- For RVs over 15ft, Campground #1 offers larger sites, cabins, and platform options.
- Our communal hangout will be at Walk-in Site 216, where we’ll set up a HUGE group camp kitchen—this is the heart of our shared experience!
Whether you’re joining us for the full weekend or just part of it, you’ll be surrounded by a group of women who are excited to share this adventure with you.

### 🍳 Group Meals (Optional)
We’ll be preparing shared meals together at our communal site. If you’d like to join in, please let us know on the registration form. The menu and cost will be posted closer to the event. If you’d rather bring your own food, that’s totally fine too!
