What we’re about
Calling all outdoor fitness enthusiasts in the greater Clearwater area! What better way to enjoy our beautiful community, stay in shape, and make like-minded friends than participating in group walks? Given our abundance of incredible parks, the Pinellas Trail, miles of beaches, and walk-friendly communities, we have a lot of ground to cover as a group. Join us for healthy fun and camaraderie!
This group is for walkers in the Clearwater area who are able to participate in three- to six-mile walks. Of course, it's highly recommended that you check with your doctor before starting this or any other fitness program. Individual group members are responsible for their own health and safety.
No worries if you are a "stroller" or a "power walker"-- there are bound to be others in the group who match your pace. With the size of our group, we tend to separate into smaller packs that match our paces which is a great way to get to know a few people better too.
Note: If you would like to bring your dog, your dog must be people friendly AND dog friendly (aggressive, fear-reactive, and/or dogs with a history of biting are NOT welcome). Your dog must be up-to-date on all shots. As the dog's owner, you are fully responsible for your dog's actions. All walk locations and walk coordinators do not automatically allow dogs; read the event descriptions carefully.
So, check the Calendar and join us for our next walking event!

See all- Gulfport Walk & Stella's for breakfastGulfport Recreation Center, Gulfport, FL
Do something special this weekend ... take a walk in the charming, coastal Gulfport community and have breakfast at Stella's too!
We start at Gulfport Recreation Center and head toward Clam Bayou Nature Park where we'll take the one-mile trail loop and enjoy its natural beauty. We walk through the neighborhood and along Gulfport's main street. There are cute, painted mailboxes to spot along the way too.
We stop for breakfast at Stella's (you can skip this if preferred). It's a half mile back to the starting spot after breakfast.
This is approximately a four-mile walk.
