Note: RSVPs don't reflect turnout - we were an existing community before we created a Meetup group. All of our gaming events have solid turnout!
Good Game GR (GG GR) is the largest tabletop gaming community in Grand Rapids, MI. We host meetups all over the Grand Rapids area and we're committed to growing a community that is inclusive to all that share the love of board, card, and tabletop roleplaying games in West Michigan.
We do our best to ensure our events are accessible no matter your experience with the hobby. We keep it a positive, cozy, and welcoming place for all.

Monday Game Night @ Rezervoir Lounge
Rezervoir Lounge, 1418 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI, USParking: There's a free lot behind the bar that usually has plenty of space. You can enter the venue from there (red door).
Discord: Folks sometimes organize games on our Discord server ahead of time, especially if they're playing heavier games. Please join that and head to #the-rez channel: Good Game GR Discord Server
What to Expect:
- Good people, good food/drink, and good games! 😎
- No experience necessary, every game starts off with a teach.
- Games all complexity are played so you can choose your vibe.
- There will be name stickers out on a table across from the bar. Please feel welcome to use them!
- We like to start off with short games and break into groups as people arrive, but showing up closer to 6pm is a great way to be able to hop right into a game.
- This event averages 25+ people, but the venue gives us so much space for us to spread out that it's never crowded.
If you have any concerns or are feeling nervous, please feel welcome to reach out in the discussion or message me and I'm happy to plan on playing something with you. Even if you don't, we're always there making sure new folks are being welcomed and everyone is being included.

Drop-In Tuesday Game Night @ House Rules
House rules, 404 Iona Ave SW ,, Grand Rapids, MI, USThis event is more about having a good time than who wins. All experience levels are invited to play. The games played vary based on the interest of who’s there. Showing up solo? No problem! Don’t know the game? No problem! Someone in the group can teach you how to play.

What to Expect:
- The 3-4 rows of tables nearest to the shelf of board games is reserved for drop-in play!
- Head to the drop-in area to mingle and grab yourself a spot in a game.
- If you're not quite sure where to fit in, you can ask someone to point out Tyler, Jed, or Michelle and they should be able to help you find a spot if they're there. The bartenders can help point you in the right direction as well.
