What we’re about
Welcome to the Golden Goddesses Friendship Circle, a vibrant and empowering community in the San Jose and South Bay area designed exclusively for women aged 50 and above! We believe that life only gets better with age, and this circle is dedicated to fostering meaningful friendships, fostering personal growth, and sparking joy through engaging activities.
Our circle thrives on friendship, encouraging genuine connections between like-minded women who share similar life experiences and interests. Through regular meetups and social events, we facilitate opportunities for members to bond over shared passions and discover new hobbies together.
At the heart of our community is a commitment to personal growth and lifelong learning. We host workshops, discussions, and guest speakers to explore a diverse range of topics, from wellness and self-care to art, culture, and technology. This continuous learning ensures that we stay intellectually stimulated and relevant in this ever-changing world.
But it's not all about serious stuff; we know how to have fun too! From group outings to local attractions, nature walks, arts and crafts sessions, and themed parties, we infuse every gathering with laughter, joy, and a spirit of adventure. Age is just a number, and we're living proof that life can be an incredible journey no matter how many candles are on our birthday cake!
The Golden Goddesses Friendship Circle is more than just a group – it's a family where we cherish each other's company, lift each other up, and embrace the golden years with open arms. Together, we're exploring the possibilities of this stage of life and turning it into a time of renewal, excitement, and endless opportunities.

Event is Free! - Harvest Festival at ArdenwoodArdenwood Historic Farm, Fremont, CA
Enjoy old-time country fun while bringing in this year’s crop of corn. Search the field for ears of flint corn or popcorn. Outside the field, enjoy seasonal activities, cider pressing, live music, and historic crafts. Ride a narrow gauge train and learn what late-19th century life was like on a tour of the beautifully restored farmhouse.
Bring a bag to take home harvested corn (one-bag per-person limit). Please note that the corn is dried corn both decorative and popcorn. We want to hit that first! You pick the corn and half goes to feed the chickens there. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes!
Drop-in; no registration required. 10am-4pm Fee: Adult $12, senior (62+) $10. The pumpkin patch is $5 for adults.
Page 5 of the newsletter contains information about the festival. If you are available Sept 7, they have their Apple Festival, but I'm not available that day. Information is on page 4 though.
- 🍺 Campbell Oktoberfest: Volunteer & Festival Fun! 🎉Campbell Farmers Market, Campbell , CA
Let’s get into the Oktoberfest spirit—Campbell style!
I’ll be volunteering at the beer booth from 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM, and I’d love for some of you to join me. It’s a fun way to be part of the action, meet great people, and kick off the day with some good vibes and community energy. Not into pouring brews? No problem—there are also volunteer spots available at the ticket booth, pretzel booth, and kids zone, so there’s something for everyone.
After the shift, we’ll head into the festival to enjoy the live music, browse the vendors, and grab a well-earned bite (and maybe a stein or two 🍻).
Whether you want to volunteer or just meet up later for the festivities, it’ll be a day full of fun, laughter, and local flavor. Let me know if you’d like to help out—I can point you in the right direction!
See you there! Jill 408-580-4930
