## Welcome to Gearhouse's fun (and easy-ish) trivia!

Every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month!!! We built a trivia completely in house with unique categories that we think you'll love! Gearhouse is all about making new friends and getting people outside, so come with a team or solo and we'll help you find a team! We reserve a table for those that come without a team to make sure everyone is welcome and that you walk away with a few new connections.

Compete in 5 rounds for the chance to win a fifty dollar gift card to Basecamp Cafe, can be used for food, drinks, or merch!

Who are your hosts?

Cassie:
Hailing from Montana and now residing in Seattle, she's both respected and feared by bar and restaurant owners for her impeccable pretzel and cheese reviewing abilities and isn't afraid to bust out a spreadsheet to analyze the merits of each for her blog. She also happens to be a friendly Gearhouse member!

Meara:
A Gearhouse staff member from Seattle who loves plotting a funny trivia category. When she's not hosting, you can find her hiking, biking, skiing, or doing pretty much any outdoor activity. Catch her at other events like board game night, happy hour, or the walk and talk!

Kill your Netflix and spend some time with people IRL. We'll be playing all kinds of games...board games, card games, name games...

Don't be shy. Come on down and you might not only meet some fun new people, but the makings of a fun weekend activity or future adventure could be on the menu.

Please rsvp and make sure you turn up. Solitaire isn't as fun as everyone thinks. ;) If you have a game you love - bring it!!! We're always looking for games that take 20-30 minutes to play and can handle a large number of people but all games are welcome!

We're now serving paninis so you can stick around for dinner and keep the games going even longer! As well as beer flights for those who want to try them all!

Check-in with the barista/bartender for a name-tag and to find the next open table and things will get rolling from there!

Settle into an evening of sound, light, and your favorite crafts. Think of it as an opportunity to parallel play, with no expectations, set to ambient soundscapes. A hybrid DJ set (Isla Vidal) blending ambient textures with live vocals, think Julianna Barwick, Brian Eno's pioneering atmospheres, and Midori Takada's percussive meditations, will play while reactive visuals (Diana Xie's) will be projected into the space, pulsing and drift alongside the music.
Bring your favorite craft, knitting, sketching, collage, whatever grounds you, and let the room become a collective studio. No need to talk if you don't want to. No pressure to finish anything. Just you, your friends, and a room full of people making things while colors dance on the walls and sound fills the space.
5:30-8pm at Gearhouse Cafe. Bring your craft. Bring your people. Just vibe.
