About us
MindSlí offers reflective experiences that help people better understand themselves, and the people around them, using ideas from psychology, philosophy, and behavioural science.
One such framework is the Meaningful Conversations Discussion Evenings.
Each gathering centres on a single theme, such as happiness, confidence, love, identity, or purpose, explored through 3 carefully chosen questions and a simple discussion format that helps thoughts unfold more clearly.
There’s no expectation to share personal stories unless you want to. Many people choose to speak in principles, reflections, or general observations — keeping as much privacy and confidentiality as feels right for them.
The meeting location is flexible, but most often in Salthill, in relaxed public spaces such as The Beacon pub.
These evenings are an invitation to slow down, think together, and make sense of life with a little more clarity, curiosity, and kindness, in good company!

Mindful Steps By The Sea — A Reflective Shore Walk (Option 3, Families)
Grattan Road Beach Salthill, Grattan Road, Galway, IEJoin MindSlí and Galway Atlantaquaria for a guided reflective shore journey on Grattan Beach, Salthill.
Sometimes all we need is a little time to slow down and check in with ourselves — and the shore is a beautiful place to do just that!
Mindful Steps By The Sea is made up of 10 short reflective exercises, each one quietly connecting what you notice around you on the beach with something worth noticing within you.
Come as you are. Go at your own pace. Leave with a little more clarity.
No prior experience needed. You stay fully in control of your pace, depth, and comfort.
This event is open to families and children are very welcome — all participants, adults and children alike, take part in the reflective exercises together. Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
Places are limited to 20 and booking is required via the Galway
Atlantaquaria website — https://nationalaquarium.ie/events-on-the-shore/
This experience is funded by the Clean Coasts Grants, 2026. Participants will be invited to take part in a #2MinuteBeachClean at the beginning of the experience.
Please dress for the weather and bring gloves for litter picking.
