What we’re about
If you are looking to dine out, go to comedy shows, live music events, festivals, farmers markets, regular hikes with and without dogs, explore parks and museums, while expanding your social circle and making friends, this group is for you.
Our focus is mostly Marin County and San Francisco, but will also include events in surrounding counties.
We are a mix of newcomers to Marin, women starting a new life chapter, and women who have lived in the area a long time.
We will try to make events for larger groups so everyone that wants to attend gets a chance!
If you have a good idea for an event - either a one time or regular activity, please contact me. It will take many hosts to make this group fun and interesting with diverse activities. I hope that you will meet new friends with women that share similar interests and interesting women that also want to see more of what this beautiful area has to offer and attend events that just aren’t quite as fun attending alone.

*Please make sure to have a photo of yourself to your profile.
*New hosts must attend at least one event to be verified.

*Remember that you are responsible for your own comfort and safety.
*Please add your input on fun ideas to the message board thread!

See all- Volunteers Needed for Lions Food Booth at Sausalito Boat ShowClipper Yacht Harbor, Sausalito, CA
There is a Volunteer Opportunity for the Sausalito chili cook-off (9/20) and the Sausalito Boat Show(9/19-9/21). The Sausalito Lions Club is manning both a food booth at the Sausalito boat show (for the full 3 day weekend) and the alcohol booth at the Chili Cook Off on 9/20. The Lions are eagerly seeking volunteers. Membership is not required. We need as many hands as we can get! The Boat Show is a 4 hour commitment but then you will have free access to and parking for the Boat Show the rest of the day. I will post this as a separate event as well but DM me with your phone number (if I don't already have it ) and I will put you in touch with the person coordinating the volunteer schedule. All of the proceeds that Lions raise at events like this get donated back to the community. We support vision impaired services and events, Canine Companions, Dipsea Kids Jingle Bell Run, local community projects, and an annual speech contest for high school students across the county, district and state.
Bring a friend and make it a fun day! Your help would be greatly appreciated.

- Watch 10-Minute Plays on Zoom & Vote for Dawn's Play Society's Child!Link visible for attendees
This Sunday, 9/21/25, at 2 p.m. watch five free 10-minute plays on Zoom and please vote for Dawn Yun's play, Society's Child. It should be the first in the five-play lineup.
Let me explain. My play, Society's Child, was picked as a finalist, one of many plays submitted from all over the country to The Playwrights Center of San Francisco's 2025 Short Play Festival.
However, the winner is audience driven and chosen by you.
So please sit back, enjoy a drink, or two, and at 2 p.m. this Sunday, the festival will begin. You will find that seeing the plays on Zoom is akin to watching an immersive TV show.
At the end of the five plays you can vote. Please vote for mine, Society's Child. PCSF will then tally the winner, which is the play that gets the most votes.
There is no cost to watch, it is free, though they will likely ask for a donation but it is not at all required. The only requirement is for you to watch and to enjoy.
Society's Child is a short play about a mother and a daughter. There is drama. There is laughter. Hard truths are confronted. Secrets are revealed. There is pain but in the end the two re-connect over food. Why? Food is love. And I love a happy ending.
