Friends Forever Bus Tour Club

We ran this trip last December and it was requested we run it again.

First we shop and attend the Strawberry Festival at Peddlers Village.

Our second stop is the Columbus Farmers Market.

## We are proud to be Delaware Valley's oldest and largest flea market. Our Indoor Market operates "YEAR ROUND" Thursday thru Sunday, and offers an unforgettable shopping experience. In addition to over 65 indoor retail stores, the market also offers a conveniently located indoor food court, fresh produce & seafood at "Produce Row." A visit to Columbus is not complete until you visit The Amish Market which features Jeffs Meat Market & Rebecca's Soft Pretzels, The Dutch Kitchen Bakery & Dry Goods, J & L Candy, Stoltzfus BBQ, Riehls Deli & Subs & much more!!

$25 Slot - Private Lunch & Show

$149.00 pp includes Show, lunch & $25.00 slot play. You will have time before lunch and after show for gambling we will not be first bus to leave after show.

Day 1

Join us for a peaceful ride on an historic paddlewheel riverboat! This beautiful lake on the Connecticut and Massachusetts border has the longest name of any place in the United States, Lake Char­gogg­a­gogg­man­chaugg­a­gogg­chau­bun­a­gung­a­maugg! After this relaxing cruise, we will head over to the most popular all-you-can-eat restaurant in the state of Rhode Island, Wright’s Farm, where you will enjoy their renowned family-style dinner and gift shop. After Dinner we will check into hour hotel around 8.00PM

Day 2

After breakfast at hotel

Essex Steam Train & Riverboat’s 2 1/2-hour train and riverboat or 1 hour train only journeys begins at the historic 1892 Essex Station for a 12-mile, narrated round-trip into the heart of the unspoiled Connecticut River Valley. The steam locomotive pulls vintage coaches through the quintessential New England towns of Deep River and Chester. A natural highlight is the undeveloped Selden Neck State Park, accessible only by boat. Essex Steam Train offers unique access to several coves and preserves, immersing passengers in an on-board eco-excursion. The train travels near the tidal wetlands of Pratt Cove and Chester Creek — bountiful, natural habitats for birds including Cormorants, Ducks, Swans, Greenland Geese, Blue Heron, Egrets, and Red-winged Blackbirds. In February and March, the majestic Bald Eagle is the star of the show when it migrates south to the Connecticut River Valley from Canada and Maine.
At Deep River Landing, passengers are escorted onto the Becky Thatcher riverboat for a 11/4– hour cruise along the Connecticut River. The visual serenity of the river valley is on full display from Becky‘s multiple decks. The deep water, coves, inlets, marshes, wildlife, and rocky shoreline are, all at once, simply breathtaking!
Just as impressive are the historic sites, including Gillette Castle, Goodspeed Opera House and the Haddam Swing Bridge. Upon Becky‘s return to Deep River Landing, the steam train welcomes passengers for the return trip back to Essex Station.
