FriendCon Board Game & RPG Meetups

Join FriendCon for board games! No need to know how to play; teachers are available. Just show up. Or, bring a game you've been dying to play and get others to join you. It's a friendly and welcoming group.

Free, and open to beginners! For two days, board games and table top RPGs will take over the Portland Public Library at 5 Monument Square, in downtown Portland, Maine. We will have:

• Scheduled board games and RPGs that you can sign up for in advance
• Icebreaker games that anyone can join and learn
• A full library of board games and RPGs to access
• Prizes! You can win copies of the board games you play at the Play-to-Win table.

At FriendCon, we believe in no barriers to making community through gameplay. You don’t need to be an expert to join us, everyone starts somewhere. You don’t need to know the rules, we’ll teach you. You don’t need to bring a buddy;
you’ll meet new friends here.
