About Fremont, Newark & Union City Bicycling.
Peddle-powered bicycling around Fremont, Newark & Union City, California. We've been hosting "Fourth Friday", "Bike & Bites", "Community Rides" and "Holiday Lights" events since 2017. We host bi-weekly events through meetup.com.

Since being established on 12/22/2017, we've promoted enjoyable urban bicycling and community with a non-pressuring and competitive approach to group bicycling.

This is a group for anyone interested in casual bicycling around the Tri-City areas of Fremont, Newark, and Union City, CA. We welcome all riders who want to build confidence using a bicycle, enjoy a simple and casual pace, and gain shared knowledge within the Tri-City neighborhoods. We host bi-weekly events and at least once every "Fourth Friday" for an evening bicycle ride.

• Guideline Rules:
1. Before sending a request to join this group, we encourage your profile picture to show your face, so we know who you are. Consistent profile photo updates or name changes tend to be a red flag for spam profiles, and they will be deleted from this group. (Starting July 16, 2023)
2. Please answer the entry questions to the best of your ability. One-word answers such as "Yo" or "Accountability" are honestly not helpful. Replying with no answer is an automatic rejection. These questions help improve our group. (Starting July 16, 2023)
3. As a courtesy, if you join an event, please update your RSVP status promptly, even if you change it within 24 hours of the event. Consistent no-shows (3 or more) without an update or not replying to the Direct Messages will be deleted from the group. (Starting 16, 2023)
4. The minimum attendance of once every 4 months to remain a member of this group. (Starting July 1, 2021)
5. Event and ride guidelines are listed with each event, please read and review them before attending each event. Though guests are encouraged, please check in with the organizer before each event.
