Our World Food Tour continues with an exciting exploration of Afghan flavors at Setaara Afghan Cuisine! The beauty of Afghan food is that it stands as a testament to the various different empires that have crossed the country from the Greeks to the Mongols to the Mughals and Persians. For those that donât like spicy food, they will be pleasantly surprised with the food being extremely savory, yet subtly seasoned. Adding the French fusion along with Ducktown Italian favorites really adds to the experience as those that aren't ready to try Afghan food can try their savory non-Afghan options.Why You Should Join Us:

We'll be gathering at Setaara Afghan Cuisine to explore their diverse menu. Prepare your taste buds for a delightful combination of spices and comforting flavors! You can get a glimpse of their menu here: https://setaaraac.com/.The Deets:
- BYOB: Feel free to bring your favorite wine to complement the rich and flavorful Afghan cuisine!
- Cost: On weekends they only serve the tasting menu
Setaara Tasting Menu ($69.77/person) - 1st Course: Choice of any 1 appetizer. (Note: Escargot is an additional charge)
- 2nd Course: Soup Du Jour
- 3rd Course: Choice of any 1 entree. (Note: Setaara Kabob and Beef Dijonnaise is an additional charge)
- 4th Course: Dessert of the Day
- On the table: Freshly baked Afghan and French bread.
- Note parties of 6 or more have an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill. Tax is 6.63%.
- Bring enough CASH $$$ to make payment easier. If no one orders anything that is an additional charge expect to pay $90. If you have dietary restrictions send a private message to the Host ahead of time.
- Allergies: If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform me as soon as possible so I can notify the restaurant in advance.
- Important: There is a $150 hold on my credit card for this reservation. I have to provide the correct number of people no later than 48 hours before so I will confirm that you will be attending by Wednesday so people on the waitlist can move to "going" if there is room and I do not get charged for someone who does not show up. Please make sure to confirm. You will only be included in the reservation if you confirm. If you do not confirm, you will be moved to not going. If you can't attend, kindly change your RSVP to not going at least 48 hours prior.
- Parking: There is street and free parking for dinner is available at St. Michaelâs Church at 21 N. Georgia Avenue, half a block away. I can't wait to see you there.
Bring your dancing shoes because there is a good chance we will head out to enjoy some music after dinner.

From flavorful mezze (small plates) perfect for sharing to succulent grilled meats and refreshing salads, their menu showcases the best of Lebanese culinary traditions. It's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a healthy and delicious meal and connect with fellow food enthusiasts.What's the Plan?
We'll be gathering at Libeirut to explore their enticing menu. Prepare your taste buds for a delightful journey through fragrant herbs, zesty spices, and fresh ingredients! You can get a glimpse of their menu here: https://www.eatlibeirut.com/. Note the time is 5:30 PM. They would not do our usual 6:30. I hope you can still make it.The Deets:
- BYOB: Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to complement the fresh and flavorful Lebanese cuisine!
- Cost: All parties of 5 or more are required to take part in the Chef's Tasting Menu for $55/pp and are subject to an automatic gratuity of 20%. With tax and tip, it should be $70pp. Bring cash $$$. The bill will be split evenly. Let me know if you have any dietary restrictions.
- Allergies: If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform me as soon as possible so I can notify the restaurant in advance.
- Important: I will confirm your attendance a day or two before the event. If your plans change, please update your RSVP to "Not Going" promptly. This will allow someone on the waitlist to join us or allow me to adjust our reservation.
