# 🏀 5-on-5 Pickup Basketball at Moody Park — Ewing, NJ

Come out for a fun, competitive game of 5-on-5 pickup basketball at Moody Park in Ewing, NJ!

### 🏀 All Skill Levels Welcome

Whether you're a beginner, casual player, or experienced hooper, everyone is welcome. We'll do our best to make the teams as even and competitive as possible.
The goal is to get some good basketball in, meet other local players, and have a good time.

### 📍 Location

Moody Park — Ewing, NJ
Important: There is no court reservation for this meetup. We will meet at the park and use the basketball court if it is available.

### 👥 Minimum Players

We need at least 8 people signed up/confirmed for the game to take place.
If we do not have at least 8 players, the meetup will be cancelled. If we have more than 10, we can do substitutions or have a 2nd game. Please check the Meetup event before heading to the park for any cancellation or update.

Basketball is a physical sport and participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, sprains, strains, broken bones, muscle injuries, head injuries, serious injury, property damage, and, in rare circumstances, permanent disability or death.
By participating in this meetup, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with playing basketball and being present at the meetup location.
You are responsible for determining whether you are physically capable of participating. Do not participate if you are injured, ill, or otherwise unable to safely play. Participants are expected to play responsibly, respect other players, avoid dangerous or excessively aggressive play, and follow applicable park rules.
By attending or participating, you agree, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the meetup organizer and any individuals assisting with or participating in organizing the meetup from claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or relating to your participation in the meetup, including claims arising from injury, illness, death, or property damage, except to the extent such waiver or release is prohibited by law.
You understand that the organizer is not providing professional athletic supervision, medical care, coaching, security, or emergency services. Participants are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
If an injury or emergency occurs, participants should seek appropriate medical assistance and contact emergency services when necessary.
Participation is voluntary. By attending, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these risks and agree to participate at your own risk.

Come ready to play, compete, meet some people, and have fun. We'll organize 5-on-5 teams as evenly as possible based on the players who show up.

Pickup Soccer – 11v11 (All Levels Welcome)!
** Please note there are about 15 people outside of meetup who will join**

Come out and enjoy a fun, competitive, and friendly game of 11v11 pickup soccer. This run is open to players of all skill levels, whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking to get back on the field. The goal is good soccer, fair play, and a welcoming environment for everyone.

The match will be played on grass, so cleats are strongly recommended. Pinnies will be provided to help divide teams—just bring your boots, water, and a good attitude. We’ll play two 45-minute halves with a 30-minute rest break in between to recover, hydrate, and rotate players if needed.
If you’re looking for a solid run, plenty of touches, and a relaxed but competitive atmosphere, this is the game for you.

By attending, you confirm that you are participating voluntarily, are physically able to participate, and will play responsibly and respectfully. If you are registering others (including minors), you confirm you have authority to do so and accept responsibility on their behalf.
