We’re bringing together Durham Region residents who share a love for food and want to build meaningful friendships. 🍽️
Our meetups promise delicious meals and engaging conversations, with a rotation of local restaurants to keep things interesting. Your input for venue suggestions is not just welcome; it's encouraged!
We also host weekly Get Out! Coffee & Conversation events, perfect for those who work from home and need a refreshing midweek break with casual chats and friendly faces.
Our newest addition is the Live & Local series—featuring music and nightlife events perfectly paired with snacks or a meal.
When requesting to join, please be sure that you have your first name and a photo of yourself in your profile so that we can recognize and welcome you at our events.
If you reserve a spot, we kindly ask that you honour your commitment. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may lead to removal from the group to ensure fairness and consideration for all members.

We're gathering at Bond|St Snack Bar (on Bond, just east of Simcoe) and then heading downstairs to TwoTwoTwo in the same building.
We’ll start with food and drinks upstairs at 9 pm, then move to the dance portion at 10 pm.
For those wondering if this is open to those of us who are 45+… it absolutely is!
Important Details:
- This is a public event, but we’d love to meet up and enjoy it together!
- Tickets are required and must be purchased through Eventbrite.
- RSVP here on Meetup to let us know you’re going, but don’t forget to grab your ticket directly from the event site.
Please note: This venue has stairs and no elevator, making it inaccessible for wheelchair users.

We’ll be gathering at Daniel Patrick’s Bar & Grill in Oshawa—owned by one of our own, Ryan. Let’s show up to support him and enjoy some great food together!

We’re gathering at The Springwood in Whitby - thespringwoodwhitby.com.
We’ll be participating in their signature experience, "Come Over for Dinner." The cost is $55 per person plus tax and tip, and you’re welcome to add additional items during the evening. Please note that this experience requires everyone in our party to participate.
The menu is a surprise, but the restaurant will ask about any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the start to accommodate them.
Additionally, the restaurant charges a $25 fee for each no-show. To manage this, we’re trying a new approach:
- The event fee is $25, payable via e-transfer to durhamregionfoodiefinds@gmail.com.
- If you attend the dinner, you’ll receive $20 back in cash.
- If you don’t show up, your fee is non-refundable.

The restaurant does not have any stairs and there is an accessible parking spot directly outside. However, the washrooms are not wheelchair accessible.
