If you enjoy Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPGs (TableTop RolePlaying Games), then this group is for you! Join this Meetup and our Discord server if you want to meet other cool players in the South Bay and surrounding areas. This is a great group if you want to join or host games, laugh, roleplay, and roll dice.
We regularly host both In Person and Online meetups so keep an eye on the calendar for updates! We also provide trainings for new players and DMs!
As a member of Dungeons and Dragons of the South Bay, please follow these rules:

2. Don’t be a jerk.
3. Please keep your RSVPs updated! It makes Tiamat angry when adventurers don't show up to eat.

D&D Basic Character Creation
Panera Bread, 501 East Hamilton Avenue, Campbell, CA, USInterested in learning how to create a 2014 Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition character, or have you ever created a character but did not completely understand the choices you made?
Join my workshop to learn character creation basics. If you have the 2014 Player's Handbook (PHB) available (see event picture), I'll assist in you choosing your own character. For those of you who do not have the PHB available, you will be following along while we build one character together.
I will only be covering the basics (i.e. no multiclassing or books outside the PHB). However, I will also briefly explain the differences with 2024 character creation.
What to bring:

*Print: Choose file "Character Sheet - Print Version" OR
*Digital: Choose file "Character Sheet - Form Fillable" - Paper, pen or pencil
- Player's Handbook (optional if you want to build your own character vs a group character)
Weather info: Be prepared to move indoors if it rains or it becomes too cold to sit outside.
