Making friends as an adult shouldn’t be this hard, that’s why we started DFW Young & Social! This group is all about making it easier to meet new people, try new things, and build real connections. No membership fees, no pressure. Just fun, welcoming events where you can show up, be yourself, and connect with great people.

Looking for a great way to start your Sunday? Member Rushil is hosting a weekly Run Club for the club, and you’re invited! Whether you're a runner, a jogger, or just looking for a casual morning walk, this is a chance to move, enjoy the fresh air, and connect with others.
This is a pet-friendly event, and you're welcome to bring your dog or cat along at your own risk. Just make sure pets stay leashed, are well-behaved and non-aggressive, and that you're responsible for their actions throughout the event.
📍 Location: Bird’s Fort Trail Park (Image map provided!)
🕗 8:45 AM – Meet Up & Warm Up (Stretch, chat, and get ready to go!)
🏃 9:00 AM – Run Begins (Set your own pace—run, jog, or walk!)
⌛ 10:00 AM – Official End Time (Feel free to continue if you’d like!)Post-Run Coffee Social – After the run, we’ll head to a nearby coffee shop for a relaxed hangout. If you’d rather skip the run and meet us for coffee, that works too!
This is an out-and-back route, meaning we’ll be following the same path both ways. Since this trail is popular with runners, walkers, and cyclists, please be mindful of your surroundings and share the path.

- Volunteering at LLELA: Tree Clearing & Conservation EffortLLELA Nature Preserve, Lewisville, TX
Roll up your sleeves and help us make a difference! Join DFW Young & Social in partnership with Friends of LLELA for a hands-on volunteer morning dedicated to clearing overgrown wooded areas. We’ll be using be removing unwanted trees and brush, then piling them up for a giant control bonfire (if weather allows!).
Important Info:
We start at 9:00 AM sharp and will caravan by 9:15 to the back of property and will not be able to have anyone else participate.Let us know you're coming on Meetup or Click here to RSVP in our system

Looking for a fun way to kick off your week? Join us every Monday at 7:30 PM for our Beginner Line Dancing Class. This week will be doing A Bar Song (Tipsy) by Shaboozey!
Each week, we’ll teach a different line dance, so whether you’re brand new to dancing or just want to learn some new moves, this is the perfect place to start. No partner or experience needed — just bring yourself and a willingness to have fun!
Schedule:

Single Class - $15 for a single class | $7.50 for students 25 and younger with college ID

Fast-paced, flirty, fun, and danceable to hundreds of today's top Latin pop hits, Salsa is a fantastic dance to have in your pocket! You don’t have to bring a partner! We rotate throughout the classes, so everyone gets plenty of opportunities to dance and meet new people.
