Making friends as an adult shouldn’t be this hard, that’s why we started DFW Young & Social! This group is all about making it easier to meet new people, try new things, and build real connections. No membership fees, no pressure. Just fun, welcoming events where you can show up, be yourself, and connect with great people.

Beginner Salsa Dance Class
DFW Young & Social, 2309 Springlake Rd, Suite 600, Farmers Branch, tx, USFast-paced, Flirty, fun and danceable to hundreds of today’s top Latin pop hits, Salsa is a fantastic dance to have in your pocket! You don’t have to bring a partner! We rotate throughout the classes, so everyone gets plenty of opportunities to dance and meet new people.
Head to our Member's System to Pay head of time! Or feel free to pay at the door with cash/card/venmo/zelle.
Schedule:
- 5:00pm - Beginner or Level 1
- Ready for level 2? Join us at 6pm!
Pricing:
- Single Class $15 for a single class | $7.50 for students 25 and younger with college ID
- Two Class Special $25 | Come an hour early and warm up with Bachata at 4PM
Dance Class Packs (Usable at all dance classes):
- $52 for 4 classes ($13 per class) | $88 for 8 classes ($11 per class) | $108 for 12 classes ($9 per class)

Holiday Neon Paint & Sip Party
DFW Young & Social, 2309 Springlake Rd, Suite 600, Farmers Branch, tx, USLight up your holiday season at our Holiday Neon Paint Night on Saturday, December 13 at 7:30 PM. This glow in the dark art experience is all about creativity, color and fun. You will create your own vibrant holiday inspired painting under blacklight while enjoying music, laughter and a relaxed social atmosphere. All supplies are included, and our amazing instructor Maria will guide you step by step, making it perfect for both beginners and returning artists.

DFWYAS Social Run Club
Birds Fort Trail Park, 5756 Riverside Drive, Irving, TX, USLooking for a great way to start your Sunday? Member Rushil is hosting a weekly Run Club for the club, and you’re invited! Whether you're a runner, a jogger, or just looking for a casual morning walk, this is a chance to move, enjoy the fresh air, and connect with others.
This is a pet-friendly event, and you're welcome to bring your dog or cat along at your own risk. Just make sure pets stay leashed, are well-behaved and non-aggressive, and that you're responsible for their actions throughout the event.
📍 Location: Bird’s Fort Trail Park (Image map provided!)
🕗 8:45 AM – Meet Up & Warm Up (Stretch, chat, and get ready to go!)
🏃 9:00 AM – Run Begins (Set your own pace—run, jog, or walk!)
⌛ 10:00 AM – Official End Time (Feel free to continue if you’d like!)
Post-Run Coffee Social – After the run, we’ll head to a nearby coffee shop for a relaxed hangout. If you’d rather skip the run and meet us for coffee, that works too!
This is an out-and-back route, meaning we’ll be following the same path both ways. Since this trail is popular with runners, walkers, and cyclists, please be mindful of your surroundings and share the path.

Guided Nature Hike & Tour at LLELA with Texas Master Naturalist
LLELA Nature Preserve, 201 East Jones Street, Lewisville, TX, USJoin us for a special guided hike and nature tour with Scott Kiester, Texas Master Naturalist and President of Friends of LLELA. This isn’t your average hike — it’s a chance to explore LLELA through the eyes of a conservation expert, with stories and insights about native plants, wildlife, and restoration efforts. If the group is large enough, we’ll use a wireless mic and mid-group speaker setup so everyone can follow along comfortably.
What to Expect:
- 1 to 2 hours of walking - Educational stop and Q/A along the trail
- Opportunity to learn directly from a local leader in conservation
- $5 Park Entry fee (paid at the gate, it supports all conservation efforts)
What to Bring:
- Water, comfortable walking shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, and curiosity!
