What we’re about
Delaware Valley VEG is dedicated to helping the Delaware Valley eat more plants for all the reasons: The animals, the environment, and health.
We welcome everyone from committed vegans to "veg-curious" folk. Through our programming, we strive to to build community, educate, increase access to vegan/plant-based food options, and HAVE FUN!
We host or participate in a ton of events, but our favorite annual events are Phoenixville VegFest and Diner en Vert.
Join the Del Val Veg discussion on Facebook too!

Vegan Cruise on the Rhine
Location not specified yetEmbark on a 7-night vegan Rhine River cruise from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam, Netherlands in November 2025. (trip is not affiliated with Delaware Valley VEG)
Cabins from 2000 euro ($2340) not including airfare are available (price is per person/double occupancy). Detailed description and booking info on the Vegan Travel website.
I booked a Category 1 stateroom which has two twin beds. If someone is interested in sharing this cabin, please message me on meetup and we can discuss options. The cost would be about $1575 not including airfare and trainfare from Zurich to Basel. (approximate $700 Newark to Zurich direct flight)
I've traveled several times with Vegan Travel Cruises and the vegan meals are incredible and the passengers friendly. Typical river cruises host about 150 passengers, so this will be an uncrowded ship with many wonderful experiences. Port excursions are additional ($30-70 typically) or you can often just walk on your own from the pier.
Here is some more information to tantalize you.
One of Europe’s most legendary rivers awaits you on this exciting all-vegan journey along the majestic Rhine River, which takes you across Germany - and touches Switzerland, France and The Netherlands.
Savor delectable vegan cuisine and discover captivating cities along the way, each with its unique history and culture.
Your vegan floating hotel will glide effortlessly along the Rhine, offering breathtaking views of vine-clad hills, medieval castles, and charming villages. From the vibrant art scene of Basel to the romantic canals of Amsterdam, you'll discover a wealth of treasures.
