What we’re about
Meet friends, have fun, and participate in diverse activities! If you are new in town, new to the country, a native to the area, single, married, divorced, or something else that hasn’t been categorized, and you want to make friends, this group may be for you. If you under the age of 40, I am fine with you joining our events.
Note:
- We are not a singles group (no meat-market atmosphere)
- We are not a business networking site. Promotion of your business is not permitted (except through sponsorship).
We are looking for sponsors. If you are interested in promoting your business with the group, contact Kimberly

What makes us different? The area around Middletown and Dayton is fast growing and under-represented in the Meetup arena. We are trying to bridge that gap with social activities that take place all over this region.
What else? If you’re shy, come early and meet with the organizers first. We will do our best to make you feel at ease and introduce you to others as they arrive for an event.
Is that all? Remember, we can organize events, but without you, there is no group. So sign up and get active!

See all- Fred Bay Observatory - Night Sky TourHisey Park, Waynesville, OH
Discover the night sky during the free stargazing event at the Fred Bay Observatory at Hisey Park. The observatory features a 16-foot dome housing a nine-inch refracting telescope that enables visitors view all of our solar system's planets as well as deep-space objects such as galaxies, nebulas, clusters, and stars.
Warren County Park District partners with volunteer members of the Warren County Astronomical Society to provide this stargazing activity.
- Details about what’s in the sky each month and how to participate are shared on:
- Our Facebook page
- These monthly programs are usually held rain or “shine.” If weather or atmospheric conditions are not favorable, we usually move the program indoors at Hisey Park. There will be occasions, however, when we cancel events due to weather conditions and availability of our volunteers. Cancellations and schedule changes are announced to the public on our Facebook page, and our GroupMe channel for members.
- Additional events will be conducted throughout the year as the weather permits. Watch for details on our Facebook page.
