Jesus made it clear--He did not come to abolish the Old Testament law, but to fulfill it.

The Pharisees did not understand what that looked like--they expected that the promised Messiah would come to bring strength, power, and victory to the Jewish people; they expected the Messiah would act and speak very differently than what Jesus did.

Telling those who were poor, those who hunger, and those who weep how happy they were while telling those who were rich, those who were well-fed, and those who laugh that they should be sorrowful turned conventional wisdom on its head; Jesus' message was precisely that--He was calling people to be wise according to God's standards, not man's.

Jesus still calls people to the wisdom of God--to be like the wise man who built his house on a rock, and not like the foolish man who built his house on the sand. Jesus said the fruit of those who follow Him would look like His life and teaching.

Nationally known as a psychologist and a radio personality, Dr. Toni Grant became nationally known thanks to her ability to give sound advice in a relational and effective way, and to handle hot topics with a unique blend of rational argument and a believable perspective.

When she wrote "Being A Woman: Fulfilling Your Femininity and Finding Love" in 1988, she took semi-controversial ideas, provided her reasoning for believing them to be valid, and encouraged women everywhere to be feminine and impactful as women, not as combatants to men, but as the necessary and valued other half of the human race.

What the Second Seal Really Means — Most Christians Have Never Studied It. Will You?

When the Lamb opens the Second Seal in Revelation chapter 6, Scripture records another living creature saying, ""Come and see" — and there went out another horse that was red. Power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another; and there was given unto him a great sword."

According to the revealed message, this Seal unveils a profound mystery: the same rider who went forth on the white horse now changes horses. The bow is laid down. A sword is placed in his hand. What began as a subtle spirit of deception in the earliest Church Age now takes peace from the earth and rides through the blood of the saints — still pointing toward greater end-time realities in the Seven-Sealed Book, the title deed of redemption reclaimed by Christ.

Few have examined the distinction between the symbol given to John and its deeper meaning for believers in these last days: why the horse turns red, why peace is taken, why the second beast calls us to come and see, and how this Seal answers the words of Jesus — "Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars; see that ye be not troubled, for the end is not yet."
