About us
D&D at B&B is a weekly TTRPG event in downtown Chattanooga, TN. We try to make our games as inclusive as possible; our goal is to lower the barrier for entry for new folks to get involved in the hobby. New players don't need to bring anything--we provide free dice and character sheets for all first-timers, and all skill levels are welcome!
As the name might suggest, these events are Dungeons and Dragons heavy, but other TTRPGs are welcome.
How it works:
Head over to our website and signup for whichever week you plan to attend and whether you would prefer to be a player, gm, or either (ie. flex). You'll then receive a confirmation email. We'll then sit you at tables trying to balance experience levels and expectations. Once you've attended once, you'll be invited to the discord where you'll see announcements, game pitches, and the dankest of dnd memes (do the kids still say dank?).
Folks make their way over during the 5 o'clock hour. The event begins officially at 4:30, but feel free to come earlier if you'd like to finish dining before the game starts. Character sheets and dice will be provided. Announcements start at 4:50 and games get going promptly at 6pm. Late arrivals are allowed at each GM's discretion. Play will continue through the close of business at 8pm. Food orders will need to be placed no later than 7:30pm. Games will last between 2.5 to 3.5 hours (ie. until 7:30 or 8:30). All players must be off premises at 9pm.
For Dungeon/Game Masters:
Anyone who wants to run a game can provide their pitch on the signup sheet or on discord. While being on the discord is not required to gm, it is where Uri reaches out for more people to GM.
What You Need to Bring:
You don't need to bring anything to play--we provide dice, character sheets, and helpful advice for all new players!
So, if you want to meet new people, learn the rules of D&D or TTRPGs, or just play some games and have some drinks, come out and join us every week!
